Hello everyone! Many of you know me on Hive for playing various NFT games like Rising Star and Splinterlands. In the physical world, I love walking around in RVA (Richmond, VA) and taking photos with my iPhone. I love the James River in Richmond. The river runs through Downtown Richmond! There are many concerts, festivals, and events that take place at Brown's Island. It is such a beautiful river to view in person. I will try my best to let you feel like you are there with the river too!

Browns Island was formed in 1789. Named after the owner, Elijah Brown. In 1987, the park became a part of the city's James River Park. It is a perfect spot to take photos of as it is a high tourist spot in the city. There are many parks to access the James River. One of my favorite parks is Browns Island. You can access the T. Tyler Potterfield pedestrian bridge from it. This is where I took many photos during the sunset hour which is 7:38 PM EST here.

I like to get there about an hour before so many of the photos are pre-sunset walking towards the river, etc. was just at the James River here in RVA (Richmond, VA. USA) and wanted to share some great photos I captured with my iPhone! I do have a Canon Rebel camera but did not use it during this trip to the river. Maybe next time I will take it.

For Most of my photos I use Lightroom to add a lot more vibrant color to the sky, etc. There are many here that are not edited though as you will notice the difference. I have a lot more photos and videos on Instagram at clove71 but these are the following shots I got, I am only going to add half of the park as you can go to the left into the city or to the right into the river. I went to the right after I crossed the bridge so I could get a nice sunset photo of the river. I hope you love this park as much as I do!

If you would like to check out their website it is: http://www.brownsisland.com/
and grab yourself a nice walk through nature with beautiful city views of RVA! Let's go check it out now!

There are so many old trees in RVA, I love them. So many are so old and grown and torn up sidewalks and streets that came way after there were there.

What an amazing sunset, there were so many different colors of nature to experience. I really enjoyed every place and corner you have shown us here.

The Union captured it, that's interesting.

Yes, there is a lot of history here in RVA. I love it as Downtown RVA has a River running through it! I have to plan on staying longer next time I go somewhere to take photos to get more colors. I parked too far away this time and was ready to start the walk back, lol!

Rivers across the city bring a lot of animal habitants close to urban life, you are indeed blessed with such natural wonders.

Next time, you may focus on birds and insects around these parts. Thanks

I should have stayed longer! I parked too far away and there was a storm coming from the opposite direction and I had a long walk to go, LOL! I will park closer next time, there is parking close right by the entrance on a big hill after business hours.

There are lots of tourists in Richmond for sure, a great place to see. Stop 1 is the James River at Belle Isle I'm my opinion. There are several parks at the River I love.
