Angeiras Beach_ Matosinhos, Portugal

Hello everyone. I hope you are all well 😃
Today I woke up to a very busy day full of rain. Believe me, there was a yellow alert for the weather, this is a bad sign as you should only make necessary trips. The storms seem to have decided to pay a visit to Portugal.
So I stayed at home to see if the weather improved and if there would be a slight improvement.
And as they say here in Portugal, São Pedro was a friend.
Phew, the weather finally improved and I took my camera and went in search of taking photos at Angeiras beach in Matosinhos, Portugal.
This beach is located in the northern region.
So I started photographing the Portinho de Angeiras sea break, as the name suggests, it is a stone construction to defend the sea when it is very rough. It ends up being a protection for the land to minimize possible damage.
The breakwater has a fantastic view, it feels like we are flooded by the sea, it feels like we are crossing water. In fact, that's exactly what's happening.
So I started photographing the Portinho de Angeiras sea break, as the name suggests, it is a stone construction to defend the sea when it is very rough. It ends up being a protection for the land to minimize possible damage.
With all the warning signs, I decided to visit the fishing village right next door.
It is a village full of colorful fishermen's houses, giving the place a colorful and fun atmosphere, a very characteristic village.
I found myself talking to a group of fishermen and came across a profession full of uncertainty and very difficult, as not every day things go the best way. In this case, they go by the nature of the sea and what it allows.
But that doesn't stop them from being happy people, with a lot of soul and many stories to tell.
Every wrinkle and mark on these fishermen's bodies tells a story.
It's funny that there are even chairs on the door as if they wanted to wait for better days.
The little houses each have a family, with a life story, but they are still colorful.
Next to the houses there is the material that is used to place your fish.
Fishing colvos are the most used to catch octopus.
The boats are all parked when not in use. We will stay together in houses.
Also next to the houses there are some types of ropes or clotheslines for clothes to dry.
And so I returned home, with my duty fulfilled of having learned a lot from local people, humble people who are neither afraid nor ashamed to share their experiences. With a full heart.
I hope you enjoyed this post of mine 😄
