Hola mis abejitas ❤️ hoy vengo recargada con éste lindo post de mi fin de semana, en el que compartí con mis compañeros de la universidad en el castrero, un lugar turístico de Venezuela, específicamente del Estado Guarico, San Juan de los Morros. Mi compañera Lorens cómo le decimos nosotros vive allá, así que como es temporada de cachapas fuimos invitados desde hace un mes pero por la universidad muchos estuvimos ocupados, así que decidímos ir ayer.

Hello my little bees ❤️ today I come recharged with this nice post of my weekend, in which I shared with my college classmates in the castrero, a tourist place in Venezuela, specifically in the state of Guarico, San Juan de los Morros. My partner Lorens as we call her lives there, so as it is cachapas season we were invited a month ago but because of the university many of us were busy, so we decided to go there yesterday.

Quede encantada con el lugar, todo es campestre, es colorido ya que hay mucha flora en el lugar, muchos árboles y flores de distintos colores y formas, rojas, amarillas, blancas, rosadas, naranja, hay un gran diversidad, los árboles viejos que cubren el lugar y le dan frescura, el río que pasa alrededor de las casas y que le dan vida a éste lugar. Los animales también son parte de éste, pudimos visualizar una ardilla muy cerca del río. El río es muy frío, ya que estábamos prácticamente en una montaña al inicio de todo el lugar, se pueden imaginar la temperatura del agua en una altura así, nos hace temblar y el cuerpo es como si se congelara y se entumeciera.

I was enchanted with the place, everything is country, it is colorful because there is a lot of flora in the place, many trees and flowers of different colors and shapes, red, yellow, white, pink, orange, there is a great diversity, the old trees that cover the place and give it freshness, the river that passes around the houses and that give life to this place. The animals are also part of this place, we could see a squirrel very close to the river. The river is very cold, since we were practically on a mountain at the beginning of the whole place, you can imagine the temperature of the water at such a height, it makes us shiver and the body is as if it were freezing and numb.

La vista es impresionante, todo se ve tan vivo, se respira aire puro, aire fresco, es realmente tranquilo, además casi no pasan carros por allí así que es muy silencioso, además esa zona es lugar de familia, todos se conocen y la mayoría son familiares. El trato puedo decir que es espectacular, los papás de Lorens son una maravilla, cuando llegamos su madre Teresa nos trató como si fuéramos sus hijos, nos atendieron de una manera tan amable y nos sirvió unas ricas cachapas con queso llanero y natilla, yo me comí una sola pero mis compañeros hombres casi todos se comieron 2 en el almuerzo, compartimos una rica panelada fría y conociendo a los papás de Lorens.

The view is breathtaking, everything looks so alive, you breathe pure air, fresh air, it is really quiet, also almost no cars pass through there so it is very quiet, plus that area is a family place, everyone knows each other and most of them are family. The treatment I can say that is spectacular, Lorens' parents are wonderful, when we arrived his mother Teresa treated us as if we were her children, they served us so kindly and served us some delicious cachapas with llanero cheese and natilla, I ate only one but my male companions almost all ate 2 for lunch, we shared a nice cold panelada and meeting Lorens' parents.

Tienen 3 perritas cazadoras muy hermosa, llamadas Lasi, Laica y Patrulla. Son muy juguetonas, son abuela, madre e hija, patrulla es la menor y es muy enérgica, tiene dos meses y le encanta acostarse y estirarse cómoda en el suelo. Estos tipos de mascotas he visto que los tienen mucho en zonas rurales cómo estás, dicen que ayudan con el ganado y esas cosas, pero quedé enamorada de ellos. Además tienen gallos y gallinas, tienen un gallo que le dicen cresta rosa, tiene la cresta como grande y llena de muchos pedazos, es algo rara pero me gusta.

They have 3 beautiful little hunting dogs named Lasi, Laica and Patrulla. They are very playful, they are grandmother, mother and daughter, Patrulla is the youngest and is very energetic, she is two months old and loves to lie down and stretch comfortably on the floor. These types of pets I have seen that they have them a lot in rural areas like these, they say they help with the livestock and stuff, but I fell in love with them. They also have roosters and hens, they have a rooster that they call pink crest, it has a crest like big and full of many pieces, it is something weird but I like it.

Luego de comer bajamos al río, nos bañamos por un rato pendientes de que no llegara una creciente de repente porque estamos en tiempos de lluvia y es algo peligroso, además estaba comenzando a lloviznar. Luego de estar casi congelandonos como por hora y media por el frío del agua salimos y volvimos a la casa a tomarnos fotografías, seguir charlando un rato con la familia de Lorens y jugar con las mascotas, en ese momento aproveché de tomas muchas fotografías, de animales y flores. Conocí la mata de orégano, es grande y huele divino, volvimos a comer cachapas ya que el río nos dió hambre y sed también. La mamá de Lorens nos regaló 2 cachapas a cada uno para llevar a nuestros hogares y luego esperamos que nos fueran a buscar en los carritos por puesto, lastimosamente al señor del carro se le olvidó buscarnos, ya que trabajan para una línea en el castrero, así que bajamos hasta el propio balneario donde está la cascada a la que la gente le tiene miedo porque se han muerto muchas personas allí, dicen que es un pozo profundo que ahoga a las personas y las expulsa luego de horas o días hacia la superficie.

After lunch we went down to the river, we bathed for a while, watching out for a sudden flood because we are in rainy weather and it is a bit dangerous, besides it was starting to drizzle. After being almost freezing for about an hour and a half because of the cold water we got out and went back to the house to take pictures, continue chatting for a while with Lorens' family and play with the pets, at that time I took many pictures of animals and flowers. I visited the oregano bush, it is big and smells divine, we went back to eat cachapas since the river made us hungry and thirsty too. Lorens' mom gave us 2 cachapas each to take to our homes and then we waited for them to pick us up in the carts by post, unfortunately the man in the cart forgot to pick us up, as they work for a line in the castrero, so we went down to the spa itself where the waterfall is, which people are afraid of because many people have died there, they say it is a deep well that drowns people and expels them after hours or days to the surface.

Allí esperamos con la esperanza de que alguna camioneta bajara y nos diera un aventón, sin embargo eso no sucedió, llegó Vanessa una de nuestras compañeras de clase que había ido en carro con su mamá y su hermano de 1 año, que habían dejado la pañalera en casa de Lorena y se devolvieron por ella, así que bajamos con ellas, éramos 7 personas en un carro. Pero así culminó nuestro viaje exitosamente. Llegué muy agotada pero feliz, la pasamos genial en familia y de verdad espero que este viaje vuelva a repetirse nuevamente. Dejamos planeada una salida a comer sopa de cruzado en el mismo lugar, así que pronto nos tendrán nuevamente por allá. Gracias a ustedes que me leyeron, un beso y hasta otro próximo post.

There we waited with the hope that a van would come down and give us a ride, however that did not happen, Vanessa arrived, one of our classmates who had gone by car with her mother and her 1 year old brother, who had left the diaper bag at Lorena's house and returned for her, so we went down with them, we were 7 people in a car. But that was the end of our trip. I arrived very exhausted but happy, we had a great time as a family and I really hope that this trip will be repeated again.
