Concurso Tbt| El tiempo vuela [Esp/Eng]

Hola amigos que tal, hoy quiero participar en el concurso de @Lanzjoseg sobre el Jueves de Tbt, me parece excelente este concurso y siento que desbloqueé un recuerdo muy bonito.

Hi, friends, how are you? Today I want to enter @Lanzjoseg #TBT Thursday contest. I think this contest is great, and it’s brought back a really nice memory for me.

Ésta fotografía tiene un valor sentimental para mí, ya que este recuerdo fue hace dos años un 31 de diciembre, dónde pude compartir con mi familia después de un año de estar viviendo lejos de casa, definitivamente nada como el hogar y la familia. Una de las cosas que más extrañé aparte de mi familia y amigos fue a éstas dos pequeñas niñas que tenía mucho tiempo sin ver.

This photo has sentimental value for me, since this memory dates back to December 31st two years ago, when I was able to spend time with my family after a year of living away from home—there’s definitely nothing like home and family. One of the things I missed most, aside from my family and friends, was these two little girls whom I hadn’t seen in a long time.

Ellas son mis primitas, Bianca y Leori. A mí me encantan mucho los niños, y ellas son muy apegadas a mí desde pequeñas, son bastantes ocurrentes e inteligentes, siempre salen con una travesura o nos sacan una sonrisa en casa, sin duda los niños son una luz que llenan nuestras vidas de alegría y juventud, con cada carcajada, cada ocurrencia, cada palabra y acto de cariño, sin duda es el amor más puro, decido compartir ésta imagen porque hoy en día están un poco más grandes y me da un poco de nostalgia, ya que aún recuerdo cuando eran tan pequeñitas que incluso no podían pronunciar bien nuestros nombres, aún recuerdo en ese momento que me dijeron "Tía, vamos a tomarnos fotos", porque a pesar de que somos primas, ella me dicen tia ya que me ven cómo una figura familiar adulta para ellas.

They’re my little cousins, Bianca and Leori. I absolutely love kids, and they’ve been very close to me since they were little. They’re quite witty and smart—they’re always up to some mischief or making us smile at home. Without a doubt, children are a light that fills our lives with joy and youth; with every laugh, every witty remark, every word, and every act of affection, it’s undoubtedly the purest form of love. I’ve decided to share this photo because they’re a little older now, and it makes me feel a bit nostalgic—I still remember when they were so tiny they couldn’t even pronounce our names properly. I still remember the moment they said to me, “Auntie, let’s take some pictures,” because even though we’re cousins, they call me “auntie” since they see me as an adult family figure.

Hoy en día saben leer, hablan fluido y siguen siendo unas niñas felices, pero me recuerda que el tiempo pasa muy rápido y en un abrir y cerrar de ojos nuestros niños ya no son tan pequeños como antes, así que hay que disfrutarlos y quererlos, también nos hace ver que la vida es un instante y hay que vivirla al máximo al lado de nuestros seres queridos.

Today they can read, speak fluently, and are still happy little girls, but it reminds me that time flies by so quickly and, in the blink of an eye, our children aren’t as little as they used to be, so we have to enjoy them and love them. It also makes us realize that life is just a moment and we have to live it to the fullest alongside our loved ones.
