Reflective thoughts from a spring day

Spring is now warming up the days, a wonderful warmth encourages people to walk through the streets and stroll along the seashore. I am very lucky to live in a coastal city, the sea is a much appreciated friend throughout the season but in spring the colors are brighter, the scents more intense and even photographing the sea and the port of the city is not so trivial.

It can often seem strange to take multiple photos of the same place, I have been doing it for many years now but the surprising thing is that there is no photo that is the same as the previous ones. The sea, the boats, the birds are the wonderful subjects of my city and I am always enchanted by them, a bit like all those tourists who stop to have lunch by the sea and observe every single wave, tasting a good glass of wine.

It's been a long work week, it always scares me how quickly time passes when you're relaxed and happy. Our routine is partly to blame, work is always our priority, we spend an average of 5 days a week busy doing things we don't like. Then in the remaining two days we accumulate arrears between home, family and obligatory chores. In fact, how much time do we have available for our happiness?

The post-pandemic era is definitely changing our approach to work and life. We want more time for ourselves, less stress, fewer bad thoughts. Money isn't the only thing that matters. This is being reflected in the world of work, layoffs have increased, people want to work less and better but above all they want more corporate welfare and to obtain a satisfactory private-work life relationship.

Without a doubt, it is a blessing to live in a coastal city and have the possibility of enjoying beautiful landscapes like the one you show us on this occasion.
It's true, I think that everyone, or rather, the vast majority, is addicted to our obligations, and we don't enjoy the beautiful things that life has.
I appreciate you sharing these beautiful photographs and this reflection.
Have a great day dear friend @claudio83
