Abandoned Hotel at the Beach

Greetings to all Hive users! A big hug to all of you, and especially to the members of the Urban Exploration community. I'm psycho-yoseph and I have the pleasure to share with you a new photo shoot that we managed to capture in an old abandoned hotel I hope you like it!
Recently, I became interested in the story of an old hotel located near one of the beaches of our city. Despite its obvious abandonment, there was no information on the internet or social media about its past. Intrigued, I decided to go ahead with a little research, consulting with local elders. From their stories, I was able to deduce that this hotel, with an architecture that evoked past times, dated at least from the mid-1950s, being a pioneer as the first luxury beach hotel in the area. Once this information was gathered, I set out to coordinate with some friends to carry out an exploration of the place. We met in the afternoon, near the beach adjacent to the hotel. After meeting, we made sure we had the necessary equipment for this type of incursion: masks to protect us from dust and possible particles, flashlights to illuminate the dark interiors, gloves to avoid direct contact with deteriorated surfaces and caps for comfort.

We walked along the shore towards the imposing building, stopping to inspect the surroundings to verify that there was no danger or anomalous situation. Fortunately, we only observed a couple of people enjoying a swim at the nearby beach, a common scene in this area. Cautiously, we entered the interior of the old hotel. The first thing that caught our attention was the lobby, completely desolate and empty. We quickly snapped a few photographs to document the initial state of the place before continuing our exploration.

We were aware that we had to be discreet, avoiding making unnecessary noise and trying not to show ourselves through the windows facing the back street, as this area is frequently patrolled by the police, given the presence of wealthy properties in the vicinity. On a previous occasion, I had been warned and evicted by the authorities when trying to access this building, so this time we took extreme precautions. With extreme care, we climbed the stairs, exploring each of the rooms.

Fortunately for us, we found no signs of human presence or unexpected obstacles. Once we considered the building relatively safe, we allowed ourselves to stop to contemplate the landscape and take several photographs. Despite the obvious deterioration and neglect, the site offered a truly exceptional view of the coastal environment, a silent testimony to its past splendor.
