Variety of photography practices 📷 Canon PowerShot SX40 HS #2

This is the Palace of Justice of Lima, it is a very nice building is in the center of the city and has very good details, around it there are other historical buildings of the same style.

I had always wanted to take this kind of pictures, a building with a waving flag. With my cell phone the flags always come out blurry plus the sky usually makes the building opaque.

That's the advantage of a camera, I'm getting a better understanding of how shutter speed and light input work.

The stickers on the road signs... Is it urban art for you? I think so.

Siempre había querido tomar este tipo de fotografías, un edificio con una bandera ondeante. Con mi celular las banderas siempre salen borrosas además de que el cielo suele hacer opaco el edificio.

Es la ventaja de una cámara, voy comprendiendo mejor cómo funcionan la velocidad de obturació y la entrada de luz.

Right in front of there is the Sheraton Hotel, inaugurated on February 28, 1973, today it is a very exclusive hotel, and due to its location it has been the protagonist of many historical events of Lima's politics.

On one side, we have the Juana Alarco de Dammert Park, a meeting place for traveling artists, especially jugglers but also attended by artisans, musicians and even magicians.

The park's walkways are a pleasant, quiet space in the midst of the city's disorder.

! [Spanish]Justo en frente de allí está el Hotel Sheraton, inaugurado el 28 de febrero de 1973 hoy día es un hotel bastante exclusivo, y por su ubicación ha sido protagonista de muchos hechos históricos de la política limeña.

A un costado, tenemos el parque Juana Alarco de Dammert, un sitio de encuentro para artistas viajeros, especialmente malabaristas pero también asisten artesanos, músicos y hasta magos.

Las caminerías del parque son un agradable espacio tranquilo en medio del desorden de la ciudad.

This was a night practice, I took them with the flash of the camera and I know they have a lot of mistakes but i also see some magic.

I like being able to "stop" the objects in the moment, like the hat and the cubs in the air.

They are an exploration of the camera's capabilities and my skills. I know that soon I will look at these photos and think "ha, what a novice I was...".

Flowers are a classic in my photographs, they have the advantage that they don't get bored posing and those wonderful colors always catch my attention.

The shapes, the designs, the patterns, everything evokes the mathematics of nature, right?

I also like to photograph trees but I don't like the shots I take as much. Let's practice that.
