A stunning weekend away in Cambridge

As a birthday treat, I travelled to Cambridge to stay the night Sunday- Monday.

I could have picked other cities but the Travelodge in the centre had A good deal on costing just £35 for the night which included breakfast, I also wanted to visit Decathalon and also explore Cambridge more because the last 2 times I visited this year it was raining on both occasions but this time it was very different.

The weather turned out to be very nice and with the hotel in the centre of town, it made for A relaxing evening and not having to worry about transport back to the hotel.

We also tried a couple of food places on this visit first A visit to Wetherspoons, was just a lunch to get us prepped for the day after the hour-and-a-half drive getting here. For dinner we went to Nandos, I had A voucher and it was expiring so I thought why not? The next day we got some food from the market in the town centre it ranged from hot dogs to some ramen. For lunch we had Honest Burger (A burger chain but I was quite surprised by how good it was) then in the evening after the drive back home we stopped at an Indian cuisine that I regularly visit.

I loved visiting Cambridge it is very vibrant and there is a lot to see and do. if you plan on going get A bicycle, everyone has one there hehe/
