Swimming in 19 Degree at November
The weather in Istanbul was beautiful this weekend. There was very little wind. I immediately called my friend and told her we had to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity. She jumped in the car and picked me up. We went to the village of Kilyos, north of Istanbul. It's a place on the Black Sea coast famous for its beaches.
The locals were walking on the beach here because the weather was nice. We were going to bring our swimwear and swim in the sea.
Because the weather was windless, there were no waves, and we went in. The outside temperature was 19 degrees Celsius. The water temperature was estimated at 16.5 degrees Celsius. I've only been in a colder sea in Portugal.
I felt a little cold at first, but I eventually got used to the coldness. It was a very enjoyable day.
Swimming in the sea in November was also a memory for me.
