Welcome to the Cockatoo zoo for the 22nd edition of the Show Me A Photo Contest

Hello there my Feathered friends fans!

I hope that you're all flapping good today/tonight, where ever you are in the world.

I would like to present you with the Cockatoo zoo (not a real zoo- atleast not here anyway...)

But Cockatoos can be pretty crazy cocky's and they are LOUD, NOISY, MESSY and destructive, but also VERY photogenic too- as you will see here.

And I'm sure you can see the look of defiance on this guys face, which is why I have chosen this photo to be the actual entry photo! 🤣

I selected these 6 photos from hundreds that I've taken in the past few months up in bird paradise on Lake Macquarie, as I used each image to load onto the 6 side of a Rubiks cube.

As I explained in last weeks post, I support a non- profit here in Melbourne https://www.birdrehomingservices.com.au/ that re-homes abandoned pet birds (and yes there are many of them),so I like to help them create awareness of birds and responsible bird ownership, as well as helping them make a bit of moula by creating and donating things like these Rubiks cubes to sell- like this one of the Kookaburras here too https://peakd.com/hive-106444/@chocolatescorpi/feathered-friends

So you too can help Nikky and the flock find furfeather homes for these guys by donating here as you guys all know, just how expensive birds are- especially if you have more than a handful!
