From My Garden in Africa.
Hello everyone, I'm new here in the Hive Garden, I was inspired to explore wonderful groups and communities on hive and gradually I've been doing so. I came across this hive garden community few hours ago and I was so glad I have seen a nice place to share some images of my flowers I grew on my backyard garden. Yes I also do plant few crops like the maize.
I have been wanting to post in this garden community. I hope I'm welcomed once again to this mind-blowing community.
I am from Nigeria in west Africa, I loved flowers like they're like siblings, how funny that sounds right? It is just who I am. Things like this makes the mother earth happy for humanity because we tend to keep the earth healthy and nourished.
Instead of scientific chemicals and bios that hurt nature.
Like I said, I'm from Africa, a proud one at that and I will share some images of my flowers I grew from seedling to maturity stage.
These particular flowers i have been caring for it for some time now, the way it blooms and reflect the color of it's beauty is amazing. I couldn't tell if its rose flower or a family of roses. The other looks like sun flowers, I was just so overwhelmed at it beauty and he's it also has fragrance. I nurtured so many that I can't tell it's name.
Well that's how to know a FLOWER FREAK!. hahaha.
I grew crops too, who doesn't love been a farmer and also a gardener? I don't think so because a gardener is proportional to a farmer. Farming (Agriculture) is a wonderful and creative profession lads, don't be fooled.
African is blessed with natural, organic flowers and plants. Growing from the soils blessed by our ancestors and forefathers. When the saying goes "the land is green" that means it is the responsibility of humans to make sure nature remains habitable and taken care of.
Here are the maize I grew, currently it is at the harvest stage but not yet matured enough though, just few weeks to maturity.
Here are some beautiful flowers I planted, the beauty alone prompted me to transplant it over from my neighbors garden to mine.
I'm the kind of fellow that whenever I set my eyes on amazing flowers or vegetables I like love to be a gardener that waters and nurtured same crop, so I ask for permission and get some for my mother garden.
Here I'm Africa much flowers ain't sold in supermarkets unlike the Europe or America but I can say we're blessed with natural beauty and land topography, mountains and hills, plateaus and valleys, and of course plants and animals are in abundance. So every angle of any Africa countries is wrapped with beautiful flowers.
I will always advice that we humans should spend some time with nature either by farming, going on adventures trip, mountain hiking or just having similar relationship with the earth. Not everything is science and technology. I am not saying we don't need science, I am only saying we give in to agriculture also as we give in to technology. Bet! Agriculture can't be replaced.

It’s wonderful to read your introduction and feel your passion for both flowers and crops. I can really sense how much love and care you put into your garden from nurturing your plants from seedlings to seeing them bloom in full beauty. I think it’s inspiring that you grow not just flowers but also maize and other crops.
