En esta oportunidad quiero compartir con ustedes la alegría y satisfacción de haber arribado a un año más de vida, este pasado sábado 18 de Noviembre día de la Virgen de Chiquinquirá y dia de la Alimentación, fue mi cumpleaños número 31 y les quiero decir que pase un día super alegre en familia.

In this opportunity I want to share with you the joy and satisfaction of having reached one more year of life, this past Saturday November 18, day of the Virgin of Chiquinquira and Food Day, it was my birthday number 31 and I want to tell you that I spent a very happy day with my family.

Por ser fin de semana decidí irme a pasar el día junto a mis padres, en realidad no tenía nada planificado (fiesta) para este día, pero mi esposo me sorprendió en el transcurso de la tarde con unas botellas de vino y una ración de torta para cantar cumpleaños junto a mi mamá e hijas. Al cantar cumpleaños nos regresamos a nuestro hogar, ya que mi esposo no se ha sentido bien de salud.

Since it was the weekend I decided to go spend the day with my parents, I didn't really have anything planned (party) for this day, but my husband surprised me in the course of the afternoon with a few bottles of wine and a portion of cake to sing birthday with my mom and daughters. After singing birthday we went back home, as my husband has not been feeling well.

Al día siguiente mi suegro se comunicó muy temprano con nosotros para decirnos que me regalaría un pato para preparar una comida en familia, nos alistamos y fuimos a casa de mis suegros. Al estar allí planificamos preparar pato guisado con arroz y disfrutar de un rico vino en familia.

The next day my father-in-law contacted us very early to tell us that he would give me a duck to prepare a family meal, we got ready and went to my in-laws' house. When we were there we planned to prepare stewed duck with rice and enjoy a nice wine with the family.

Mientras preparábamos la comida escuchábamos música, reíamos y compartimos una tarde súper alegre. Mi cuñada me sorprendió con una torta de chocolate y al culminar la tarde mi esposo decidió preparar un rico pollo asado para cenar. Estoy sumamente agradecida con todas las personas que hicieron lo posible para que este día fuera para mí especial, gracias a ellos tuve un excelente fin de semana y sobre todo un buen inicio a mis 31 años de vida.

Siempre doy gracias a Dios por permitirme vivir a diario junto a mis hermosas hijas, disfrutar de mis padres y la familia que me regalo. Agradezco por la vida, por cada momento bueno o malo, puesto que siempre han dejado algún aprendizaje significativo en mí y permite crecer como persona.

While we were preparing the food we listened to music, laughed and shared a very happy afternoon. My sister-in-law surprised me with a chocolate cake and at the end of the afternoon my husband decided to prepare a delicious roast chicken for dinner. I am extremely grateful to all the people who made this day special for me, thanks to them I had a great weekend and above all a good start to my 31 years of life.

I always thank God for allowing me to live daily with my beautiful daughters, enjoy my parents and the family he gave me. I am thankful for life, for every good or bad moment, since they have always left some significant learning in me and allow me to grow as a person.
