Hi chinito, Thanks for stopping by. Praying mantises are indicators of environmental quality, in fact the presence of praying mantises is often an indication of an environment rich in biodiversity and relatively little polluted.
I would add that praying mantises are highly specialized predators, in fact, thanks to their exceptional eyesight, the ability to rotate their heads up to approximately 180° and their front legs adapted to capture prey, they are among the most effective predators in the world of insects.
