Dropping at the newly opened Bougainvillea Marketplace

"The beauty of the flower is found in its resilience"

Love Know

It was one fine sunny day when we went to Carcar City to pay a visit to a friend. When we were heading home a big boom truck with a backhoe on it caught a wire from the lamp post and was dragged on the road heading to us. Good thing my husband suddenly stopped the car and the post just fell in front of us. I was a bit terrified but thank God we were safe.

Hello Hive fam it's me again @chimegipamus for another blog. Sharing with you how we've made it to the flower farm of Bougainvillea Marketplace.

It was exactly noon when the incident had happened. We were a little bit hungry after we passed the place where the lamp post was dragged and it created heavy traffic. We stop at the nearby cafeteria or food stall by the road. Due to the incident, we forgot that we were hungry.

Yet we take our lunch and my husband enjoys his food. While we were eating I asked my husband to visit the Bougainvillea Marketplace. It was by the road where we had eaten our lunch that belonged to Barangay Perrelos. I was fascinated to go inside as I saw different colors of flowers.

At the entrance we wrote our name and contact number, there was no entrance fee. There were two big trees at the entrance but full of flowers. The colors caught my attention because, in one big branch, there were different colors of flowers.

As we entered the place we were welcomed by many big pots full of different colors. Each pot of flowers was called bougainvillea. My eyes were so fascinated with the view. The bougainvillea were planted on big trunks of trees and were grafted. It turned out it was like a bonsai tree with different colors combined on one trunk.

These big pots were for sale, they cost thousands of pesos per pot. The owner planted these bougainvillea many years ago before it was made into these amazing creations. As we went farther there were also newly planted in a small pot. In the other area, you can see medium-sized flowers too. The place is perfect for sightseeing. It was opened to the public just this month of April.

There are also trees as you walk along the path to the shelter. There was a big acacia tree that gave shade to a large part of the area. Words are indescribable as I look closely at the grafted plants. It is very amazing to think how the owner had this kind of idea.

There is another area that I will share with you next time. This place has so much to offer, especially at night, that the next phase was more wonderful than what I shared with you this time. It was more flower flooded and more attraction to tell.

Everything you see is an art and a creation that only nature can flourish.
Hope you enjoy what I shared with you. See you on my next blog.
