Filter vs sunlight effect

Hello everyone 🖐️

InShot_20230711_092531155.jpg

If I were to be in a world where the moon is the light of the day then I would have been a full fan of filters (which means right now I'm not a full fan of filters) but let's look at the other way.

Using filters is not really bad, you know sometimes.we just need to look different but the problem is when you rely on filters to bring out the beauty of your pictures, it's necessary to understand that beauties are not effects related which means your beauty is not determine by any effect it's natural.

Considering filters, for a while I've been using Snapchat and it really have been awesome but not so real, there are somany features that makes it look artificial for example, I noticed that whenever I used Snapchat, my Norse becomes more smooth and shining, I don't know what Snapchat is turning me into though it looks somehow good but not natural and being natural is the best.

I guess the best way to look natural is by using a natural effect which is the sunlight effect, most times the reason why we take pictures and it doesn't look too good is because we don't understand the right eaither against or facing the sun while taking the picture, when i was a kid I was a cinematographer, I was based on covering of events and ceremonies I was not a photographer, so by reason of this I kind of knew a better stand to take when taking pictures either selfie or using the front camera from the mobile phone.

When using the front camera

The best position to take when using the front camera is to stand against the sun, this way the object or the person you are trying to view receives more sun rays so the camera can then get a better view on the subject.

When taking selfie

When taking selfie it is best advised not to back the sun or even to directly face the sun, you could only face the sun when you're inside a building but if you're in a field then it's advised to stand almost directly facing the sun so as to avoid the effects of the sun rays on your eyes.

Alright lets look at some of my Snapchat pictures and natural pictures.

I've most times been tempted to love Snapchat pictures more than my normal pictures but I came to realize that Snapchat or using filters has this artificial look of which I kind of don't like, i remember seeing someone who used filters on his picture, in the picture he was a bit bright in completion but I knew him for a while and I knew he wasn't that bright in completion, it was kind of hard to figure out he was the one in the picture.

Help me define this picture, though I look cute but it's too artificial, just look at how smooth I am compared to reality, I know I don't like having a rough face but i'w rather apply something that will make it smooth.

At least I know I'm not perfect but it's better like this.

Everything you highlighted in this post will produce a quality picture, but unfortunately many are looking for beauty not quality
