Hello everyone again, today I bring you not a drawing as such, but several drawings that represent a period of my life, specifically I want to share with you the techniques I used, the materials I used and my thoughts while drawing in my sketchbook that I started in April last year, the 2021.

Hola a todos de nuevo, el día de hoy no les traigo un dibujo como tal, si no varios dibujos que representan una época de mi vida, específicamente quiero compartir con ustedes las técnicas que usaba, los materiales que usaba y mis pensamientos mientras dibujaba en mi sketchbook que empecé en abril del año pasado, el 2021.

I will start by talking a little about the notebook, it is a notebook that I asked my mom for since I had run out of the previous one and she bought it for me, it is squared and small, at first it bothered me a little that it was squared, but I ended up getting used to it and even benefiting from it.

On the cover is a drawing of a shoe with an eye, teeth and a tongue, and as text it says "monstrously funny" and I feel it represents me very well actually hahaha, I don't want to sound like cringe, but I am monstrously funny hahahaha, I think it's impossible to say that without sounding cringe.

Empezaré hablando un poco sobre el cuaderno, es un cuaderno que le pedí a mi mamá ya que se me había acabado el anterior y ella me lo compró, es cuadriculado y pequeño, al principio me molestaba un poco que fuera cuadriculado, pero me terminé acostumbrando y hasta beneficiando.

En la portada está un dibujo de un zapato con un ojo, dientes y una lengua, y como texto dice "monstruosamente divertido" y siento que me representa muy bien la verdad jajaja, no quiero sonar como cringe, pero yo soy monstruosamente divertido jajajaja, creo que es imposible de decir eso sin que suene cringe.

On the first sheet I made a cover in which I wrote that this was the B2 notebook, following the sequence of A1, A2, A3, B1 and B2. I also wrote some phrases of my favorite songs from Steven Universe, I also wrote my mbti typology or personality which is ESFP. I drew a cute kitten with glasses and a hat, also a frog, a butterfly, a mushroom, my favorite Steven Universe fusion, the original character I draw the most and me. And I made a checkered background.

En la primera hoja hice una portada en la que escribí que este era el cuaderno B2, siguiendo la secuencia de A1, A2, A3, B1 y B2. También escribí algunas frases de mis canciones favoritas de Steven Universe, también escribí mi tipología o personalidad de mbti que es ESFP. Dibujé a un tierno gatito con lentes y sombrero, también una ranita, una mariposa, un honguito, mi fusión favorita de Steven Universe, el personaje original que más dibujo y a mi. Y le hice un fondo cuadriculado.

In this notebook I experimented with new techniques for me at that time, I increased the use of markers and highlighters, and although I didn't know much I liked it a lot, I didn't have a lot of markers but it made me happy, now I have less markers but I would like to take it up again, and whenever I can I do it, with my friends' markers hahahahaha.

En este cuaderno experimenté con técnicas nuevas para mi en ese tiempo, incrementé mucho el uso de marcadores y resaltadores, y aunque no sabía mucho me gustaba mucho, tampoco tenía la gran cantidad de marcadores pero me hacía feliz, ahorita tengo menos marcadores pero me gustaría retomarlo, y siempre que puedo lo hago, con los marcadores de mis amigos jajajjaja.

I used to mix a lot of markers with highlighters, and it seems that I am talking in a very distant past, and in truth I am talking about last year, but I have evolved and improved in an incredible way, that's why I am talking as if it were something very distant. I used to make with markers mostly simple monochromatic drawings or mixing two colors, I also liked to experiment making several small drawings on the same sheet using markers and highlighters.

Mezclaba mucho marcadores con resaltadores, y parece que estoy hablando en un pasado muy lejano, y en verdad les estoy hablando del año pasado, pero, igualmente yo he evolucionado y mejorado de una manera increíble, por eso les hablo como si fuera algo muy lejano. Hacía con marcadores mayormente dibujos simples monocromáticos o mezclando dos colores, también me gustaba experimentar haciendo varios dibujos pequeños en una misma hoja usando marcadores y resaltadores.

Also when I used to make drawings with colors there was no lack of small details with markers and highlighters, I still do that sometimes, I feel that some details in the background with marker look very good. Most of the drawings I did were of girls which is what I like to draw since I was a child, I don't know why but that's the way it is, I find it easier to draw girls.

También cuando hacía dibujos con colores no faltaban los pequeños detalles con marcadores y resaltadores, eso aún lo hago a veces, siento que algunos detalles en el fondo con marcador quedan muy bien. La mayoría de dibujos que hacía eran de chicas que es lo que más me gusta dibujar desde pequeño, no se porque razón pero es así, en parte me parece más fácil dibujar chicas.

I also ventured a bit into watercolors, obtaining drawings that I liked a lot, but they were difficult to do, I really don't know at what point I thought of using watercolors on such thin sheets, it's a silly mistake and something I would never do again, however I think that the drawings I did were a little bit nice, although you can see that the leaf was very damaged and the water was transferred to the other leaves, it made a trail, it was like crazy, or silly I don't know hahahhahaha, anyone can make mistakes.

También me aventuré un poco por la acuarelas, obteniendo dibujos que me gustaron bastantes, pero que a su vez fueron difíciles de hacer, la verdad no se en que momento se me ocurrió usar acuarelas en hojas tan delgadas, es un error tonto y algo que no volvería a hacer, sin embargo me parece que los dibujos que hice me quedaron un poquito lindos, aunque si se puede ver la hoja bien maltratada y además el agua se traspasaba para las otras hojas, hacía un reguero, era como loco, o tonto no se ajajjajaja, los errores los comete cualquiera en realidad.

For the last drawings I notice that I evolved a lot in my coloring, I don't know if it was suddenly or how it happened, but in fact if you can see an improvement especially in the last drawings, I didn't look at the dates but surely a period of time passed in which I learned and improved, I notice it mostly in the coloring of the skin, I used several colors and made light effects that I didn't do before.

Ya para los últimos dibujos noto que evolucioné mucho mi coloreado, no se si fue de repente o como pasó, pero en realidad si se ve una mejoría sobre todo en los últimos dibujos, no me fijé en las fechas pero seguramente pasó un lapso de tiempo en el que aprendí y mejoré, lo noto más que todo en los coloreados de la piel, usaba varios colores y hacía efectos de luces que antes no hacía.

In truth I am one of those people who get even a little bit of affection for each of his drawings, despite the failures and mistakes I may have made, and I really like to remember all the drawings I'm doing, this sketchbook brings me very good memories of last year, a year in which I did very well artistically because I drew too much, and it is important to draw, practice and experiment every day new techniques. Now I share with you some of the sketches I made in this sketchbook, and I say some because they are really many hahahaha!

En verdad yo soy de esas personas que le agarran aunque sea un poquito de cariño a cada uno de sus dibujos, a pesar de las fallas y errores que pude haber cometido, y de verdad que me gusta recordar todos los dibujos que voy haciendo, este cuadernito me trae muy buenos recuerdos del año pasado, un año en el que me fue muy bien artísticamente ya que dibujé demasiado, y es lo importante, dibujar, practicar y experimentar cada día nuevas técnicas. Ahora comparto con ustedes algunos de los bocetos que hacía en este sketchbook, y digo algunos porque en realidad son muchos jsjsjs.
