Still Waters, Stunning Blooms: Where Water Lilies Steal the Scene

Water Lily - Banner.jpg

As mentioned in my previous blogs, I am living in a province where we get access to nature - mountains, beaches, and rivers. We have it all here. And it also means I get to witness the beautiful things around them, whether it's the tall trees, greenery, and even the lovely wildflowers.

But today, I will highlight the popular Water Lily (Nymphaea) that is commonly seen in the river near our home. Once they bloom, the purple flower showcases their beauty confidently.

I have no idea which month is the season of water lilies, but I just witnessed them a few days ago. The leaves are green and broad, and the purple flower shows vibrance. We are in a small community, so it can truly catch everyone's attention when passing by the river.

Here in the Philippines, this plant can be found mostly in rural areas, like rivers and lakes. And I get so lucky that I can capture their beauty up close and see them personally.

As someone who loves nature and has a hobby in capturing flowers and plants, I find this moment very amazing. I came to the river in the morning, where the sun gave natural lighting and this hour was their blooming moment - petals are waving hello.

So, if you ever get a chance to see such beauty up close too, do not hesitate to capture their beauty as they deserve it very much.
