Wooden watermill

IMG_6547.jpg

Saratov region, Lokh village. The last surviving water mill. There used to be 8 of them. Now in the building of the last surviving mill there is a small museum. With a large number of visitors, museum workers turn on the mill, and water begins to flow along the chute and rotate the wheel. Several machines for making flour have been preserved inside, but they are not connected to the wheel.

What a beautiful place and a pity that there are so few windmills left. Great pictures @chanych85!
