Soviet Helios 44-2 lens
Again a small selection of photographs taken with the old Soviet Helios 44-2 lens. The pictures were taken before sunset, so we managed to catch some good angles with the backlighting of flowers. Due to manual focusing in such lighting, it is not always possible to get into focus. One photo has an average of two or three attempts.

I love the last picture with the Grass bokeh 😎, everybody loves the #bokeh of the #helios and #jupiter lens , manual focus is just something you need to get used to. I love my Helios 44-2 and my Jupiter 8 both have great bokeh.
I agree, these lenses deserve recognition precisely for bokeh. I also sometimes shoot on Jupiter, but I have Jupiter 21m and Jupiter 135 - they also give a nice picture. Sometimes I use Industar 61lz, it has an interesting bokeh - due to the design of the diaphragm, such stars appear in the average values in the photo, or as some call them - circular saws. Photo as an example. Here, the truth is that a macro-ring is added, but it conveys the essence :)

I'm shopping for a Sony 500mm at the moment to get the Donut bokeh, and yes extension tubes do help for macro with great bokeh .

Perfectly!
