Monomad challenge: flooded quarry

Photo from the archive of travel in the Southern Urals. This was one of the first tourist trips to those places. We went at the end of September, hoping to see the golden autumn. But the weather made its own adjustments - snow fell. So the landscapes were more like very late autumn - late November. And the most annoying thing is that after we left there, the weather became normal again. The snow has melted and warm autumn days have returned.

The area in the photo is a former iron ore quarry. After it was closed, water began to accumulate in the quarry, and a large lake formed.
