I learned many things in Trinidad. I learned of its history, its culture, its heritage and its beauty. But I also learned of its sadness, its silence and its need.
No, not all that glitters is gold, it looks like such a cheerful city with these colorful houses and it is quite the opposite. It was always a city of noise, of tourism, but unfortunately it is not anymore. The only people in Trinidad were us, my excursion and a few locals, which at times seemed like a ghost town.
Without tourism, its inhabitants have no work, and that fills them with loneliness and sadness. It is a dead town that needs tourism and visitors to live. Because those are the jobs of its inhabitants: hostels, craft sales, restaurants, a whole tourist town. It is a shame to see it like this.
There are prices so exaggeratedly expensive that an ordinary Cuban cannot afford. Only the foreigner could consider paying their offers and there are no more. It is very sad to see one of the most beautiful cities in Cuba like this. You have to visit it, you have to bring it back to life because it deserves it, it has so much beautiful history.
Trinidad cannot die in oblivion, that is why I am here letting the world know about its unbreakable and lasting beauty throughout the years.
And before I go I tell you that of today's photos, my favorite is the last one 🤗😉.It was the one I enjoyed working on the most.

It is undoubtedly a beautiful, very picturesque town that still preserves the vestiges of its own architecture and history.
