Peace lilies

When I arrived at my mother's garden one morning, I found this beautiful lily. The Barbados lily (Hippeastrum puniceum), Easter lily, cocoa lily, and amaryllis lily are the names given to this beauty.

I would call it an orange trumpet. It gives off music, but for the eyes instead of the ears. Music for the soul, transmitting such peace when you see it. I just saw it and thought: it has to be captured forever in photographs, I can't keep this beautiful image before my eyes to myself.

In these bad days, that's what I've needed most: PEACE. That's why today I bring you my peace and calm. And here I am with my soul taking its course again, trying to be myself again.

Lirios de paz

Cuando llegué una mañana al jardín de mi mamá, encontré este lirio hermoso. El lirio de Barbados (Hippeastrum puniceum), lirio de Pascua, lirio de cacao y lirio amarilis son los nombres que posee esta belleza.

Le diría trompeta naranja. Desprende una música pero para la vista en vez de para los oídos. Una música al alma al transmitir tanta paz cuando la vez. Solo la vi y pensé: tiene que ser capturada para siempre en fotografías, yo sola no me puedo quedar con esta bella imagen ante mis ojos.

En estos días malos, lo más que he necesitado es eso: PAZ. Es por eso que hoy les traigo mi paz y mi calma. Y aquí estoy con el alma tomando su rumbo nuevamente de vuelta, intentando volver a ser yo.
