But I'll tell you that while I was sick, I took the opportunity to capture some beautiful moments in my mom's garden.

For example, this beautiful purple flower that bloomed recently and left me speechless with its beauty. And what surprised me most was how, when I took a black and white photo of it, instead of losing its life, it gained thousands more. Its existence is wonderful and makes my mom's garden even more beautiful.

I looked up its name and found out that it is a Philippine terrestrial orchid, native to Asia but naturalized in the Caribbean. It is a marvel for gardens. And now that we are in the rainy season, it is so lush and curious about life. I'll leave it here for you to enjoy as much as I do. It is a real spectacle for those who admire its beauty.

De Filipinas al Mar Caribe

Llevaba varios días desaparecida, pero es que aún andaba con el virus que les conté en mi último post. ¡Qué mal se pasa!, y lo peor es no poder saber ni qué tipo de virus es. Pero les cuento que en lo que estaba enferma aproveché para capturar momentos hermosos en el jardín de mi mamá.

Por ejemplo, esta hermosa flor violeta que floreció por estos días y me dejó boba con su belleza. Y lo que más me sorprendió fue cómo llevándola a blanco y negro, en vez de perder vida, ganó miles más. Es maravillosa su existencia y hace del jardín de mi mamá algo más bello aún.

Estuve investigando por su nombre y es una orquídea terrestre filipina, originaria de Asia pero naturalizada en el Caribe. Toda una maravilla para los jardines. Y ahora que estamos en épocas lluviosas, está tan frondosa y curiosa por la vida. Se las dejo por acá para que la disfruten tanto como yo. Es todo un espectáculo al admirador de su belleza.
