Deckchairs Outside Ripon Cathederal - Shadow Hunters /SMASh Contest- Round 265

Greetings Shadow Hunters

This is my photograph for this week's shadow hunters contest. What we see here are 2 deck chairs that belong to a cafe across the street.

This area is where Kirkgate Street meets Minster Road outside of Ripon Cathedral. Ripon is England's third smallest city and the smallest city in Yorkshire. It is this Cathedral that gives Ripon its city status.

The shots above were taken at high noon when the sun is at its highest point.I figure I should add another shot of the Cathedral taken from the other side of the street so you can see it without the lens flare from the sun.

I have a lot of footage and photographs from inside the Cathedral to post asap, tis a majestic building indeed!

You took the photograph from a good angle, and the shadow of the chairs is shown vividly. Nice shot 📸.
The building is magnificent and I imagine how interior will look like.

Yes, the interior of the building really stunned me with how beautiful it is . The building was started way back in the Norman era of the late 12th century,so the oldest parts of it are more than 800 years old.

Here are a couple of shots of the inside for now :).

The first picture here makes me think of Harry Potter, like it's a school where people go to learn ancient magic...It's quite a special place really, one of the most powerful spiritual sites I have visited so far :).I look forward to editing the footage and making a full post about it soon.
