Trying new styles [Es-En]

El Hive's Top Model me ha llevado a explorar no solo en mi clóset en busca de prendas, sino también en los orígenes de cada estilo, dentro de ellos el Glam Rock.

Hive's Top Model has led me to explore not only in my closet in search of clothes, but also in the origins of each style, including Glam Rock.

Años 70 u 80, donde se mezclaron el rock y el glamour. Brillo, largas melenas con peinados extravagantes, ropa ajustada, música y rebeldía, qué te parece.

Years 70's or 80's, where rock and glamour were mixed. Glitter, long hair with extravagant hairstyles, tight clothes, music and rebellion, what do you think.

Para hacer estas fotos me inspiré en artistas cómo Madonna. La foto en el espejo me pareció genial, además de un símbolo de amor propio y empoderamiento femenino, que es más de lo que va este concurso.

To take these photos I was inspired by artists like Madonna. I thought the photo in the mirror was great, as well as a symbol of self-love and feminine empowerment, which is what this contest is all about.

Utilicé tonos plateados, azules y morados, para dar un toque de dramatismo. También coloqué algunas piedras en el extremo e inicio del ojo, cosa que me encantó, ya que hacía resaltar aún más todo el look.

I used silver, blue and purple tones, to give a touch of drama. I also placed some stones at the end and beginning of the eye, which I loved, as it made the whole look stand out even more.

Eres una niña muy dulce, me dicen, claro que no me han conocido en un mal día, sabemos que cómo nos ven los demás también forma parte de la imagen que vamos construyendo de nosotros mismos, así que me apetecía dejar a un lado los colores pasteles y subirle un poco la parada al maquillaje.

You are a very sweet girl, they tell me, of course they haven't met me on a bad day, we know that how others see us is also part of the image we build of ourselves, so I felt like leaving aside the pastel colors and turning up the makeup a bit.

Por otro lado, está Mursulina, mi gata, que pasó a mi lado toda cariñosa, cosa que hace cuándo tiene hambre y dije, esta es mi oportunidad de inmortalizar a Mursu en una sesión de fotos estilo rockera 😅

On the other hand, there is Mursulina, my cat, who passed by me all affectionate, something she does when she is hungry and I said, this is my chance to immortalize Mursu in a rocker style photoshoot 😅

Nada, que a veces es bueno experimentar varias opciones, gustos, alternativas; volver al pasado, conocer el porqué de las cosas antes de cualquier proyecto para encontrar aquello más acorde con nosotros mismos.

Nothing, that sometimes it's good to experience various options, tastes, alternatives; to go back to the past, to know the why of things before any project to find that which is more in line with ourselves.

Y sabes qué, a pesar de haberlo disfrutado mucho, el Rock no es lo mío. La ropa negra me dio demasiado calor y el peinado dolor de cabeza, cosas que pasan.

And you know what, even though I enjoyed it a lot, Rock is not my thing. The black clothes gave me too much heat and the hairstyle gave me a headache, things happen.

Mientras tanto aquí sigo probando, jugando cómo niña frente al espejo y compartiendo contigo parte del proceso en la elección de mi próximo maquillaje para el reto de esta semana, ya sabemos que el glam metal por ahora no.

In the meantime here I am still testing, playing like a little girl in front of the mirror and sharing with you part of the process in choosing my next makeup for this week's challenge, we already know that glam metal is not for now.

Quiero felicitar a todas las chicas porque amo ver sus entradas cada semana y verlas tan bellas y seguras de sí mismas. Sé que no es fácil, pero aquí seguimos dando lo mejor y sobre todo disfrutando.
