The Potter's house [En-Es]

In my trinidad visit we passed by "La Casa del Alfareo", an open air workshop where you can see first hand how the Santander brothers mold the clay into beautiful ceramic pieces.

From vases, ashtrays to rattles, all fruits of a tradition that dates back to the IXI century, and that has extended six generations to the present day.

Although the visit was quite quick, I really enjoyed seeing the love and patience with which this family works pottery.

En mi visita Trinidad pasamos por "La Casa del Alfareo", taller al aire libre donde se puede apreciar de primera mano cómo los hermanos Santander, moldean el barro hasta obtener preciosas piezas de cerámica.

Desde jarrones, ceniceros hasta sonajeros, todos frutos de una tradición que data del siglo IXI, y que se ha extendido seis generaciones hasta los días de hoy.

Aunque la visita fue bastante rápida, me gustó mucho ver el amor y la paciencia con que esta familia trabaja la alfarería.
