The oldest functioning Roman lighthouse (Tower of Hercules). SEAPHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST WEEK 212

Greetings friends,
I hope you are having a week.
This week I decided to participate after several weeks of absence in the photo contest organized by @marc-allaria in the #seaphotography community, where the main theme as you can not be otherwise is the sea.
Two weeks ago I was working in the city of A Coruña (Spain) and the hotel that the company I work for had booked for me was located about 2 kilometers from one of the most emblematic points of this city, which is its lighthouse, named the Tower of Hercules.

The Tower of Hercules is a lighthouse whose origin dates back to Roman times and over the centuries has undergone several renovations. In fact, in the open-air museum that has become the environment of this lighthouse you can find a small sculpture at the beginning of the walk of the menhirs that shows the remodeling that has had this emblematic lighthouse.

Very close to the point where I took the photograph of the evolution of the tower of Hercules, we can find a set of menhirs that have as main characteristic, that in its central part there is a hollow with the purpose of framing in several of them points of interest of the environment. Obviously, one of these menhirs is perfectly oriented to take a picture of the Tower of Hercules, forming a perfect frame for photography lovers.

Because the lighthouses are one of the objects related to the sea and because this is a photography contest I thought this is a good community to present you the lighthouse of A Coruña in a different way.
Best regards.
