My three beautiful female cats (Catalina, Pelota I and Pelota II)

Hi, those who have read some of my first posts will know that I am a cat lover or rather female cats. Female cats, unlike male cats, are more sociable and affectionate, so taking advantage of this contest organized by @friendlymoose I am going to compile a brief information about each one of the female cats I have or had in the last years.

I owe my current love for cats to Catalina, for this I must confess that in my childhood and adolescence, due to the allergy I had to cat and dog hair, my parents did not allow me to have a pet. This allergy to cat hair, now in adulthood, no longer affects me and I discovered it thanks to this stray cat that my mother and I adopted 3 years ago.

Catalina, as I said, is a stray cat. She arrived in our garden when she was about 6 or 7 months old. She was a little malnourished and was very distrustful of humans and impossible to be petted. I suppose that in the village the children or some adult would have scared her away or worse.

In a matter of a month, after feeding her two or three times a day with food made of leftovers of our food and milk, she began to trust us and the change came when we started feeding her with special cat food, being her favorite food the chicken and beef croquettes. Nowadays she is a totally tame and very sociable cat who doesn't hesitate to look for me in front of the garage when I arrive at my mother's house on weekends.

Being Catalina, a stray cat who lives in our garden and likes to be around town with several of her litters, we have not even been aware of how many cats she had brought into the world.

About two years ago, in the month of April, Catalina came as usual to eat in our garden and she was accompanied by a very round white kitten like her, but with the peculiarity of having a black spot in her fur that covered her eye. Because of this peculiarity, I was about to call her a pirate, however, her ball-like appearance due to her rounded shape made me decide to call her Pelota.

This kitten was with us for about 3 months and I only have some pictures and videos of her, but I will always remember how affectionate Pelota I was. I have rarely seen such a small cat that at first sight and after being raised by her mother for a few months without human contact, she would allow us to pet her or pick her up in our neck.

At the present time, next to Catalina, I have adopted another of her daughters that I have also named Pelota because of her longing for Pelota I. Unlike Pelota I, Pelota II was a less affectionate cat initially, although at present and after being feeding her fish and meat croquettes for about a year, she has learned to be affectionate with my mother and me.

What I like most is her soft fur, which is very smooth and slightly long, with very bright colors, with a mix of white, gray, yellow and orange that make her a very flirtatious cat. At the same time, in the line of her good mood you can see that in most of the pictures she appears with her tail well erect as a symbol of trust to me.

Finally, I want to share with you some endearing images of Catalina and Pelota II, in which mother and daughter are together in one of the seats we have in the garden, even though sometimes Catalina is jealous of Pelota II.

Unlike you, I prefer male cats although I have four females and three males, for me males are more affectionate, my cats are sometimes very hateful and one of them, my spoiled one, loves my husband more than me and it was me who adopted her, she is a traitor, hahaha.

Pelota I was a cutie and Pelota II with that gray tone is beautiful too, I feed besides my seven beasts, I feed two cats that were left abandoned around here and they come without fail to ask for food at the time they know I am feeding my cats is funny to see them appear through the window, although sometimes their appearances unleash fights and that of those two only one is unneutered.

Fíjate que a diferencia de ti prefiero a los gatos machos aunque tengo cuatro hembras y tres machos, para mi los machos son mas cariñosos, mis gatas son a veces muy odiosas y una de ellas mi consentida ama mas a mi esposo que a mi y fui yo quien la adoptó, es un traidora, jajaja.

Pelota I era una monadita y Pelota II con ese tono gris es hermosa también, yo alimento además de a mis siete fieras, alimento a dos gatos que dejaron abandonados por acá ya vienen sin falta a pedir comida a la hora que saben le estoy dando de comer a mis gatos es gracioso verlos aparecer por la ventana, aunque a veces sus apariciones desatan peleas y eso que de esos dos solo uno esta sin castrar.

Que divertidos sus nombres Pelota I y Pelota II, creativos y por sí si parecen unas pelotitas peludas y bonitas, que saltan aquí y allá, que lindas mascotas!
