Hunting for shadows in the vicinity of Oviedo's conference center
The conference center of the city of Oviedo is one of those buildings that do not fit at all with the environment of the city.
This building designed by Santiago Calatrava was a shopping center until 2019 and as a congress center never came to work properly, being one of those wastes that have been in Spain difficult to justify.
Walking around it on a sunny morning like today, I was hunting some unique shadows that I present below.
The first of them are some striking gridded shadows on the main dome of the conference center, formed by the transfer of the sun's rays through the structure surrounding the conference center. I have made a Zoom so that you could see them better.
The second of the shadows that I share with you is the shadow of a street lamp projected on the asphalt of the road that passes in front of the convention center, very close to where I had parked my car.
The third and last one that in turn I present in the shadow contest is the shadow of one of the trees that is near the previous streetlight on the sidewalk on the opposite side.
