Many months ago a dog belonging to one of my late uncle Salvador's neighbors paid us a surprise visit. His large size, despite being a puppy, impressed us and, in part, frightened us in case he might be aggressive.

However, this young mastiff is noble and showed no signs of being aggressive and, rather, showed signs of being comfortable around us.

He soon made friends with my cousin Natalia. I think he associated her as a pup to protect.

You see, when we went for a walk, he was at her side at all times with protective eagerness.

When we got home again after a walk, she lay down in the meadow in front of the house in no hurry to go back to her owners.

Today I found out that he is sick and his owners are very sorry for him. So these words are of affection to this faithful friend. My friend Chuski.
