I have not ever been there! It looked like an awesome excursion. I wonder how the color stays on the rock for so long considering how harsh the weather is and how old they are?! I am glad y'all were able to find a way to get down to them. You guys have an amazing weekend too. And... no luck on the Bingo Lotto for New Years. hahaha

I do recommend a visit during the summer. It is a beautiful spot with lots to discover.
To be honest… I think, as these are rock carvings. So indentations in the rocks. The red colour is probably added later by conservationists. Several times. As it wouldn’t have been done many moons ago when they were created.

It was fun and we laughed our little heads off going down and sliding along the steps hahaha 🤣

Wow that shot you featured by @goga22 is incredible. Her whole post is good but that shot really works! Fireworks and annual compilations remind me of the New Year. I tend to just press on but it is good time to be a bit cotemplative. Great curation work castleberry 👍

Yes, that top HotShot from Goga really stood out to me. We had so many great shots it was super difficult to pick this time (moreso than it usually is since it's always tough to choose).
I always enjoy shots of fireworks. And after reading a lot of people's posts and themes... it's hard not to be a bit more introspectively contemplative! Thank you for your contributions and engagement within the community. Cheers my friend and Happy New Year.
