The love story of my life I'm telling about I'm not linearly describing so in this post I'll go to some of the 1st photos I've made with my dearest girls as models - Oli & Frieda...

The Joy of the Bike Ride; Voz, Krk, Croatia, August 2021

I needed to censor my own shots above & below cause the kid is naked & unfortunately there are too many perverts in this world who might abuse these photos. These I made only 2 months after we met. I remember the days were very hot & burning & in the same time the strong mountain wind bura was blowing. The girls came by van accompanied with 2 more vans of people. Voz, the place they chose to sleep over was totally exposed to the burning Sun & also directly on the blows of the strong wind. It's the East side of the island Krk which is fully exposed to bura. I was telling them that it would be much smarter & much more comfortable for all to move to the West side of the island which is protected from bura & has nicer places with green forest & beautiful beaches but nobody listened & everybody ignored. I decided to stay overnight after all & enjoy the company of the girls but it was not a comfortable night cause the wind was shaking the van all night long & was making noises. I felt like on a boat in the storm... On these photos you can see how the high grass is totally dry & yellowish-white as well as the hair of the sweetest wild angel-beast child's hair which is being lifted & carried by the wind. The wind is always attracting me & I love to shoot it's effects. I always also believe that nothing happens without a reason so there was surely the special reason why Frieda is the name given to the child by her mother!

Already that night I was able to see Oli's resistance to my suggestions to move away from the wind & burning Sun. Her unreasonable opposing to me seemed like she was afraid to loose her freedom & independence in making her own decisions especially if the proposals were coming from a man. Even if her own decisions were a bit wrong, she wouldn't admit it nor change them because of her defensive ego which probably remembered the traumas of her previous male partners or other man who played important roles in her life. Next day I went away for my work & later on I also wanted to have some really relaxed times in numerous naturally much more beautiful places on the island. Only 2 days later, when the wind didn't stop blowing & the Sun didn't stop burning they decided to leave the place & move to the West side. Ha, ha, ha... Maybe I look to funny in other people's eyes so they don't believe I know my homeland & micro-locations where I was born & raised respecting the movements of Mother Nature which later on I voluntarily embraced & implemented in my own life to be in balance as much as possible. But in the end, it doesn't really matter cause everybody chooses it's own path.

The photos above I edited in Lightroom cause they were a bit overexposed & they still are but they are also really nice.

The next 2 photos I'm posting here cause they're showing the real joy of the bike rides too! I made them in Grafenstein during one my visits in winter 2021/2022, few months after the upper 3. It was still time when Frieda was learning to drive a bike but improving in it from the day to day.

Both of the photos have an "error" - the 1st one has totally burnt part & the 2nd is a bit burnt - this happened cause my camera has a broken film cover so I need to stick it with a scotch tape not to loose light in the camera. This time the tape was loosen & some light really entered & burnt the film directly so the result is this. Still, I like the both of them, especially the last one where the pure happiness joy of a child riding a bike can be seen...

In these times my love was still unconditional & truly real.

All the upper shots I made with Nikon F-401s & Nikon AF Nikkor 35-70 mm lens on Ilford HP5+ 400 or maybe PAN 400 black & white film. The camera body is old, from 80s or maybe 90s & the lens too but exactly cause of this the effects on the photos are very special.
