Photo Case: Forms & Scales of Grey
Photo Case: Forms & Scales of Grey
I am still firm in my decision and stick to the plan to finish editing the photos I did with Sara. I need to have enough material to create a photobook which will be presenting my photo work on one hand and can be used by Sara to present herself as a model. That is why we made so many diverse shots at the first place. Diverse in clothes that Sara was wearing, position of the body and face expressions. The whole shooting happened in two days. First day we made an improvised photo studio in her apartment and did the shooting afterwards. She had the black canvas for the background and we mounted it on the wall together. We needed to move some furniture around to have more space to shoot. I brought some special photo studio lights for the occasion and when we mounted all that we started shooting. Also Sara was preparing herself, put some make up on her face and pulling out the clothes which we chose together. I was a counselor for clothes styles.

This very attractive top of a swimming suit with the zebra pattern we certantly did use cause it fit to Sara perfectly combined with the see-through net scarf on the upper photo and also with the much smoother black pants on the photo below.

The clothes that are thin or sparsely woven are hiding the parts of the body to the level that the viewer still can see what might be hidden under but not clearly which often makes the carrier look more mystic, attractive, sensual... and the viewer can get more curios and interested...

Casual clothes make casual look so as we are both mostly relaxed people, we have chosen this combination to easily make good quality shots.
Changing the position of the body of the model and face expressions as well as the angle of the camera can increase the opportunity to create so many diverse shots of great quality. And we did it! Some of the shots we made look like those from the best fashion magazines.

Boudoir style was definitely one of the goals of our small photoshoot project. For me as a photographer it is a great honor and privilege to have a woman willing to get naked in front of my camera with the full trust in me to be professional and keep the high level of privacy and not show publicly anything that the model doesn't want to be shown.

Anyway, even thou Sara was naked here she was still wearing these nice black sandals and the feather scarf, so, actually, I would say that she was not really naked!
As I am bored with the, let's name it "normal" always smiling faces shown in most of the photos, I prefer catching different emotions shown in face expression rather than just happiness. So, I was proposing and encouraging Sara with words to make different face expressions and act the emotions which also can help her career as a model later on. That she can show at least a bit of acting abilities which makes her a better and more wanted model.

The two shots with the said face can give the viewer a different perspective of the emotions to relate with or even wondering what happened or even much deeper. I definitely will leave you the space to have your own associations.

Back to the casual style again. The upper photo shows in my eyes that sweet moment when a woman wears her partners shirt at home just because of the lovely moments they had moments ago and cause the male clothes can also be more comfortable than female especially if worn by the loved person.

For the end I bring you this shot of Sara wearing the nice squirt and fine jacket, like she's getting ready for an office job while holding in one hand the feather scarf which she finished using for now and suddenly got very serious for the serious office job.
It is fascinating how we can change our looks so fast, our forms of masks for different occasions, as it is necessary. Also, once again, I am thrilled with the scales of grey that the b'&'w photography can bring on. So, simple but rich effect and the mood it shows.
Who are happy women? When does a woman feel happy?
When the woman is happy, she's emitting happiness all around & can make others happy too. So, girls, be happy & satisfied with yourselves & your lives! Don't expect & wait others to make you feel good cause no one can do it, except you! There is no prince on the white horse! But I definitely prefer to see the women around me happy in my company!
Keep your shakti vibrant & alive!
Just few last days I was listening some philosophy teachings about men and women and relationships from which I learnt so much and which are very much helpful for both men and women so I'm sharing it here cause everything is connected:
This is my entry to #monomad challenge. Thanks @monochromes for keeping up this great photo challenge!
The upper shots I made with Nikon Z6 & Nikon AF Nikkor 35-70 mm lens. For the self-portrait below I used Nikon D800 and the same lens. This time I didn't use any AI tools for editing. All the editing made by my hand.
