Happy Monday to you all. It was overall a quite weekend for us with just one meeting with a bride but otherwise, pretty quiet overall.

Following the lead of some others, I think Monday's are a great time to share some monochrome images. I've really fell in love with Black and White photography and do believe that some images simply look much better when they are monochrome.

With a recent trip to Asheville, NC, it seemed like a great time to share some of those images today in monochrome.

These are all images found in the downtown area of Asheville. It's truly a thriving downtown area with lots of restaurants, shopping, and bars featuring many of the craft beers and liquors produced locally. You'll also find a lot of live music in the evenings to entertain while consuming their local beverages.

One of our favorites is a used book boutique style shop that serves champaign & wine, a small assortment of books, as well as shelves with used/traded books. The smell of the shelves of books coupled with freshly opened wine & champaign is intoxicating on many levels.

If you ever get an opportunity, be sure to stop in Asheville and take in some of the local fair that it offers.

I love Asheville. I travel up there a couple times a year to visit the town with family and friends. Those are striking photos of the town and definitely do it justice.
