Knoxville Tennessee Street Photography

It was my first real trip to downtown Knoxville, TN and I was pleasantly surprised. It was a bit drizzly with rain, but who doesn't love photos of wet surfaces!

Once we arrived, it was evident that the downtown is a pretty popular location. There are great shops, restaurants, and theatre locations to visit and partake in local culture. There were several really nice murals as well with one being of Dolly Parton. The Queen of Country music is known to be from the area and her Dollywood amusement park located in Pigeon Forge is just 30 miles from Knoxville downtown.

Another interesting area is the Market Square where there is a nice array of restaurants and shops. We dropped into one to enjoy som hot fried chicken, a local favorite if you are ever the area.

All in all, I was pleasantly surprised by Knoxville! I would gladly return again to walk the area and do more street photography!
