Turtle in the garden - Morrocoy en el jardín.
(Edited)
The tortoise in the photograph belongs to the species Chelonoidis carbonaria. Most tortoises are herbivores and eat fruits, flowers, leaves and seeds; however, this species is an opportunistic omnivore. It is a baby tortoise and to give an idea of the size, its carapace measures long 6 centimeters and wide 5 centimeters. It should be noted that this species, sometimes, is listed as threatened with extinction.
