The family of my tortoises continues to grow - La familia de mis morrocoyes continúa creciendo.

Less than a month ago I found a newborn tortoise that I placed in a planter with another small but older tortoise. These two tortoises add to the four adults (one male and three females), to form a family of six.
Hace menos de un mes encontré un morrocoy recién nacido que coloqué en una jardinera con otro también pequeño pero de mayor edad. Esos dos morrocoyes se suman a los cuatro adultos (un macho y tres hembras), para conformar una familia de seis.
The newborn tortoise is very active and escapes from the planter, but the other one does not. Less than a fortnight ago I was photographing frogs at night in the front yard of my house and casually found it, did not disturb it and the next day looked for it, found it and placed it in the planter with the other older tortoise.
El morrocoy recién nacido es muy activo y se escapa de la jardinera, pero el otro no. Hace menos de quince días estaba fotografiando ranas en la noche, en el patio delantero de mi casa y casualmente lo encontré, no lo molesté y el día siguiente lo busqué, encontré y coloqué en la jardinera con el otro morrocoy de mayor edad.
Yesterday morning we noticed that again the newborn tortoise had escaped and my brother started looking for it, but the surprise was that he found five small tortoises of various sizes and placed them in the planter that he modified to check if they don't escape. In the afternoon I photographed them and they were basking in the sun.
Ayer en la mañana nos dimos cuenta que otra vez el morrocoy recién nacido se había escapado y mi hermano empezó a buscarlo, pero la sorpresa fue que encontró a cinco morrocoyes pequeños de diversos tamaños y los colocó en la jardinera que modificó para ver si no se escapan. En la tarde los fotografié y se estaban asoleando.
The tortoise in the following photograph is the smallest of the five found, but it is not the newborn that escaped.

Four adult tortoises and seven small tortoises (including the newborn that escaped) now live at home. In total eleven.

Among the seven little ones, the one in the following photographs is the oldest and is the one that never escapes from the planter.

Before nightfall I decided to look for the newborn tortoise, the four adults and check three tortoise nests that I have found in the front yard. First I found the adult male in a shelter.
Antes de que anocheciera decidí buscar al morrocoy recién nacido, a los cuatro adultos y revisar tres nidos de morrocoy que he encontrado en el patio. Primero encontré al macho adulto en un refugio.
Later I found two adult females in other shelters among leaves and plant debris.
Después encontré a dos hembras adultas en otros refugios entre hojas y restos de plantas.
The larger adult female I found eating plant shoots.
A la hembra adulta de mayor tamaño la encontré comiendo brotes de plantas.
I did not find the newborn tortoise, and when checking the three tortoise nests I observed only shallow eggs, so no tortoise has been born yet, but surely soon the family of my tortoises will continue to grow.
No encontré al morrocoy recién nacido, y al revisar los tres nidos de morrocoy observé solo los huevos superficiales, por lo que aún ningún morrocoy ha nacido, pero seguramente pronto seguirá creciendo la familia de mis morrocoyes.
