Den zweiten Teil der Serie kreierte ich ausnahmslos durch Kamerarotationen. Es entstanden phantastische Welten. Aber seht selbst!

This topic of surfaces kept me busy for a while.
There are certainly many more surfaces that want to be staged, but I was somehow taken with the wrapping paper. So I added another session. A welcome activity in the rainy weather this week.
Dieses Thema Oberflächen beschäftigte mich noch für eine Weile. Sicher gibt das es noch viel mehr Oberflächen, die in Szene gesetzt werden wollen, aber das Packpapier hatte es mir irgendwie angetan. Also legte ich noch eine Session nach. Bei dem Regenwetter in dieser Woche eine willkommene Beschäftigung.

On the first two pictures you can see a camera rotation in 90° steps. The second color startet at 45°. The lens was covered by a black cloth during the rotation. After setting the rotation angle correctly, I opened the lens for two seconds. As always, I show the set below. The light source here was an RGB critter (the user-unfriendly ant lamp 😉). The scene was always lit at an acute angle.
Auf den ersten beiden Bildern seht ihr eine Kamerarotation in 90° - Schritten. Die zweite Farbe wurde um 45° versetzt rotiert. Wobei das Objektiv während der Rotation durch ein schwarzes Tuch verdeckt wurde. Nach korrekter Einstellung des Rotationswinkels öffnete ich das Objektiv für zwei Sekunden. Das Set zeige ich wie immer unten. Als Lichtquelle diente hier eine RGB-Critter (die bedienerunfreundliche Ameisenlampe 😉). Die Szene wurde stets im spitzen Winkel beleuchtet.

he picture above shows the first multicolored experiment. Here the camera was rotated 180° for each color.
Auf dem Bild oben wurde der erste mehrfarbige Versuch abgelichtet. Hier wurde die Kamera für jede Farbe um 180° rotiert.

Then I brought three colors into play. The picture above shows a rotation in 120° steps, offset by 40° for each color.
Dann brachte ich drei Farben ins Spiel. Das Bild oben zeigt eine Rotation in 120° - Schritten, die für jede Farbe um 40° versetzt wurde.

In the two pictures above you can see a rotation of each color in 120° steps. The difference between the colors was 60°.
Auf den beiden Bildern oben seht ihr eine Rotation je Farbe in 120°-Schritten. Die Differenz zwischen den Farben betrug 60°.

Now follow some pictures that I illuminated with the ant lamp in "white". The camera was rotated in 30° steps for the picture above and in 120° steps for the two pictures below.
Nun folgen einige Bilder, die ich mit der Ameisenlampe in "Weiß" beleuchtet habe. Für das Bild oben wurde die Kamera in 30°- und für die beiden Bilder unten in 120°-Schritten rotiert.

Below I show my first attempt in 45° steps in red.

Now it was time for more colors. I used four colors in the following picture. The camera was rotated in 120° steps for each color. For each additional color, the starting point of the camera was shifted by 30°.
Nun wurde es Zeit für mehr Farben. Im folgenden Bild setzte ich vier Farben ein. Die Kamera wurde pro Farbe in 120°-Schritten rotiert. Für jede weitere Farbe wurde der Startpunkt der Kamera um 30° verschoben.

What Is Light Painting?
Light painting is a unique art form. As a rule, the darkness is illuminated by the artist with various light sources and traces of light are painted into the picture with various lighting tools. Various techniques are used, such as camera rotation or other movements of the camera during exposure. The creative possibilities are almost unlimited. When using ND filters, this technique can also be used in daylight. All images were taken during a single exposure. Apart from denoising, sharpening, cropping and possibly adjusting the white balance, the images are not processed on the computer.
Lichtmalerei ist eine einzigartige Kunstform. In der Regel wird die Dunkelheit mit diversen Lichtquellen vom Künstler ausgeleuchtet und Lichtspuren mit diversen Lichtwerkzeugen ins Bild gemalt. Dabei kommen verschiedene Techniken zum Einsatz, wie Kamerarotation oder andere Bewegungen der Kamera während der Belichtung. Die kreativen Möglichkeiten sind nahezu unbegrenzt. Bei Einsatz von ND-Filtern kann diese Technik auch bei Tageslicht angewand werden. Alle Bilder wurden während einer einzigen Belichtung aufgenommen. Abgesehen vom Entrauschen, Schärfen, Beschneiden und eventuellem Anpassen des Weißabgleichs werden die Bilder nicht am Computer bearbeitet.

I'm Leesa too by the way and have been wanting to try my hand at Lightpainting since I first discovered you guys a couple of years ago, and did try once, but found it a bit hard trying to do it by myself, but after seeing your and @gunnarheilmann simple but amazing results posted on here a few days ago, I now have an idea of how I might be able to do it, now just to find the time!
(Mind you,. I actually did lightpainting back in the mid eighties when I used to shoot live bands on stage at the local pub- on the nights when I had (quite) a few drinks and in the dark, accidentally set the shutter speed to bulb! Lol...🤣
I'll have to scan some of these photos to show you...
Anyway, I will continue to follow you're amazing creations with hungry eyes.

Infact, a friend gave me this and I was going to try to sell it, but now I'm thinking that I could use it instead and have been thinking abut things and ways to use it for basic- at home lightpainting. (now that winter is coming...)
