The Iconic Aneuk Mulieng Monument in Sigli City Looks Impressive at Night

On this occasion, I would like to share some images with this beloved community, showing the Aneuk Mulieng Monument (gnetum gnemon) at night, located at the Simpang Empat roundabout on the ring road in Sigli City, Pidie Regency, Aceh Province.

One night, I was out enjoying the nightlife in Sigli City and happened to pass by one of the monuments that has become a symbol and iconic symbol of the city: the Aneuk Mulieng Monument located at Simpang Empat in Sigli City.
I took the initiative to take some photos, as I felt this monument left a special impression on me and has become a symbol of the city.

This monument is a giant melinjo seed-shaped monument, or more commonly known in our language as the aneuk mulieng monument, and serves as the gateway to the city of Sigli, the capital of Pidie Regency, Aceh Province.
The idea for this monument's construction has a long history of melinjo chip plantations and artisanal industries.

Now, this monument has become a major attraction on national routes, a major tourist attraction for those traveling to Banda Aceh or Sabang. Its unique feature is its copper construction and the carving of melinjo batik flowers.

Additionally, in the afternoon, many visitors usually come to enjoy the beauty of the monument while taking in the atmosphere of Sigli, especially this monument, located at the Simpang Empat Kota intersection.

And at night, it's decorated with lights, giving the monument a unique impression, as I've captured in some of the photos above.
