When nature invades and builds (A tunnel of evergreens)!

One of the pros of living in the countryside is to literally see nature each day. The mountains, the lands, the trees, and those tiny wildflowers blooming on the ground are my daily dose of the magnificence of life. But seeing the power of mother nature in how she invades and builds things that are more beautiful than words can tell, is more than majestic and a Bonus! And this is what I'm sharing with you today in this lovely community of #wednesdaywalk initiated by sir @tattoodjay.

So common taraaa! Let's have a walk together!

This was one of those outdoor walks that I and my husband had together. I think it's a blessing that we shared the same interest, our love of the outdoors, and have quality time that is good for our physical and mental state for free. Our walking place? Naaah, just anywhere new to our eyes, where nature is at its best!

We were heading to Madre de Cacao Tunnel as the locals called it when we passed this junk heavy equipment along the road. It is full of rust and broken pieces, but what really caught my eye were the vines climbing and covering the giant backhoe. From its view, this giant monster appeared hopeless as the greens is eating him! Poor Man! One-zero.

Welcome to the evergreen tunnel!

As we continued further our walk, I saw the sight of a lush bunch of green trees from afar that looked like a mini-forest. By the look at it, I knew underneath those trees is the tunnel that my husband was referring to. Couldn't wait to walk inside!

The Madre de Cacao tunnel is a bunch of Madre de Cacao trees. The tip of its branches and leaves embraces each other that made it look like a tunnel.

As soon as we get in, I had that feeling of entering a secret passage in the wilderness that'll bring me to the other side of the universe.

I heard nothing but only the soft voices of the leaves as they touch each other. The light of the sun that perched through the leaves made the pathway even more beautiful as the leaves appeared greener as they are.

The trees lining, taking their bows as I march at the center feel so magical. Lol. I was in awe of how this beautiful nature was formed over time. It must take patience and a long time before coming to this glorious passageway!

Walking and looking at the trees reminds me of Alice Walker's quote that says "In nature, nothing is perfect and everything is perfect. Trees can be contorted, bent in weird ways, and they are still beautiful". The trees in various sizes are bending freely on their own which gives a perfectly lovely view.

It felt so tranquil looking at this glorious view of nature that is protecting me from the heat of the sun and taking me away from the noises and the busy life. It felt like I am at nature's heart having my break!

I didn't notice that we almost reach the end of the tunnel, I was carried away not simply because of the view and the feeling it gives but also because I have my 💚 beside me. Walking here would never be a waste of time!

Our walk on the evergreen tunnel ended with some coconut leaves waving to us saying "Thank you, Come again! It was a fulfilling and rejuvenating walk.

By the time we reached the highway, we bought some Taho (a street drink) which happened to pass in front of us. What a wonderful walk it is!
