Tropical Escape at Kalubihan Beach Resort!

I just had a vibrant and refreshing weekend on my quick escapade in the beautiful, laidback beach resort of Catmon, the Kalubian Beach Resort.

Last weekend, I decided to go for a quick getaway because I felt like I had so much on my mind. I had to go outside for a quick break! I felt the need to unwind and de-stress. Well, I wasn't extremely stressed but my brain says it needs a dose of “Vitamin Sea” view. So I checked some beach resorts online that I could go (to which of course would not let me spend too much), a serene beach resort where I could enjoy its natural beauty. And yeaaah! I found the perfect, budget-friendly, and best option for a tranquil beach retreat, the Kalubian Beach Resort!

Let us immerse ourselves together in this simple tropical beach. So Taraaa Let’s Go!

The Tropical paradise of Kalubihan Beach Resort!

Along the National Highway and the coast of Catmon lies a beautiful, simple, and tropic-vibe-filled beach, the Kalubihan Beach Resort. At first sight, one would only see a stand of towering palm trees giving life to the whole beach, thus signifies the name, Kalubihan which means a group of Palm Trees, Yet, once you step inside, you'll be captivated by the resort's dynamic natural beauty.

In contrast to the more developed beach resorts in Catmon, which are often enclosed by concrete walls, this beach resort proudly embraces simplicity. As I entered, I found myself falling head over heels for its laid-back atmosphere and the unspoiled, breathtaking views of Kalubihan Beach Resort.

With its Bermuda Grass-covered ground, the majestic swaying palm trees, the azure blue sky, the sandy beach, and the radiant sun, the overall scene is simply stunning and incredibly relaxing. Kalubihan Beach Resort is, without a doubt, a beach destination for everyone (Like me!)seeking comfort, relaxation, and a genuine tropical vibe while spending almost nothing.

Green Carpet

The Bermuda Grasses covering the Ground surprised me. Its vibrant green hue adds a wonderfully earthy and lush dimension to the beach's environment. Thanks to these grasses, beachgoers won't have to worry about getting their feet covered with sand.

I couldn't help but admire the entire expanse of it and could only imagine the delightful tingling sensation on my feet once I stepped on the grass barefoot

At that time of my visit, a family was enjoying their time sitting on the grass fully immersed in the tropical vibe of the whole beach resort. With this grass, there’s no need to rent a cottage because you can just settle down on the grass and enjoy a picnic right there.

Haha! There's even laundry hanging from the palm trees! But I didn't find it a drawback though.

The Palm Trees!

The tall and majestic Palm Trees are what give comfort and a unique vibe to this beach. Kalubihan is not that big resort but the presence of the Palm Trees seems to add space to the resort coz it creates an illusion of a mini forest of coconuts.

The gentle sound of its leaves rustling with the breeze of the wind and sea is like nature's music. The lush green palms against the backdrop of the sky and the clouds create a picturesque scene, it resembles a beautiful painting! It contributed to the whole tropical vibe of an island! It is so refreshing to the senses!

The open cottages made of bamboo and Nipa Huts contributed to authenticity and the overall refreshing ambiance of the place. I haven’t asked about the cost of the rent of the cottages but I’m sure it is all worth it.

Beautiful Blue Beach

The beaches along the coast of Catmon don't have fine white sand compared to the beaches of San Remegio, but, Kalubihan, with its beautiful dark blue sea under the radiant sun and the fair clouds, was lovely and a stunning scene. It is so full of life and beauty!

Kalubihan Beach Resort has a remarkable stretch of seashore, though it is not the fine white sand, however, I found the shore unique because it is made of pebbles and corals. The shore nearest to the beach is made up of hard stones.

My favorite view of the is the fallen coconut tree on the ground. It brings a Siargao-like atmosphere as if it has transported me to the fantastic island.

I gave enough time for myself leisurely strolling along the seashore, gazing at the beautiful, lively, and vibrant beach. The place radiates not only a tropical vibe but also a joyful atmosphere. Everything seemed to slow down in this beautiful landscape. I had the best time!

Amenities and other things:
