Sublime and Beautiful Sunday : Some "After-Rain" beauty in the front yard.

It was raining lightly the whole day. The sky seems so happy sprinkling its water down the earth. In weather like this, most of our outdoor plans are postponed, as our place in the countryside gets slippery and muddy.

So the best thing to do at these times is to fix our eyes outdoors and stare at nothing while staring at something. Hehe. Confusing. But this is one of the things how I entertain myself on rainy days in our province.

I was staring out the window blankly feeling the sound of the rain when I saw my bougainvillea flowers dancing under the rain. I stared at it and it look beautiful and free as it branches keep on swaying because of the water droplets that fell on it. I smiled how could a simple sight like this look so beautiful and calming? I want to see more! So when the rain stopped I went outside and brought my mobile phone with me to capture the after-rain beauty. And here are some I got.

Fresh White flower

This a flower of a Kangkong (water spinach) Vegetable. We had a few of these in the front yard. I love how the raindrops stayed on the petals of the flowers.

The white hearts

These are Anthurium plants or Flamingo flowers on our pathways. Did you also see how greener they appeared after the rain? They are such a beauty.

I'm not a Rose. I'm Yellow.

This is the unique rose we have in our front yard. My 2-year-old daughter says it's not a rose. it's yellow! Haha. It's pretty isn't it with that two droplets of water left?

Here, I adjusted the color, and find it even lovelier.

The real Rose

Red is for roses. These are the common Rose colors of our place. I like how this Rose looks so soft after getting soaked in the rain!

The sisters

Saw these sister flowers equally stood beautifully sweet, but I think the other one is a little shy.

Cutie Red

I don't know the flower's name, but surely it is tiny and pretty.

Weeds

I came across this weed. It has a complex of flowers. It looks like a star or a finger, whatever it is, it is a beauty too!

Mr. Spike

Though I look at cactus as an angry plant because of its thorns, I really like this one. Almost all of its thorns are filled with raindrops. I think he had a good bath!

The Bougainvillea

Adorable

Pine leaves

The last photo I took is of the fresh leaves of the pine trees. I was about to roam more but the rain started to pour again.

It's amazing how Rain makes everything so green, fresh, and delightful!
And if we only look closely at the things around us they shine and glow even brighter after the kiss of the rain! I smiled at the thought "There's beauty on a rainy day, and some are just on our doorsteps".

What a beautiful rainy day it is! And since today is Sunday, this is post is for #SublimeSunday inspired by @c0ff33a, and #BeautifulSunday initiated by @ace108.

All photos are mine and are taken using my Mobile Phone Realme 6 Pro.

Thanks for reading guys! Hope you are all safe and well!

A warm smile from @callmesmile.
