Nothing but Serenity. | Kota Beach, Bantayan Island.

Every corner I explored on Bantayan Island has etched a memory on my mind and I'm certain, every traveler who has ventured to this island felt the same way. There's something on the island that will let you feel in love and that will leave you enchanted and keeps you to return again and again.

Bantayan island, as famous as it is with its pristine white sand and super beautiful beach, has clung to my heart especially since this was the very first island that my little family had spent vacation on a long holiday. Of all the places we visit and explore there, there's one place that I consider to be the most serene. It is so soul-satisfying and mind-cleansing particularly when experienced in the quiet moments just before sunrise.

It's the best silence that I ever needed, with just the sound of the waves, the gentle morning breeze of the sea, the sound of locals from afar, and
the laughter of my 2-year-old daughter while she's playing along the soft sand and the breathtaking beach in the background. I honestly couldn't put the best words to describe it.

The Kota Beach, Bantayan Island

Undeniably, the Kota Beach of Bantayan Island is one of the most beautiful beaches in the North of Cebu that the province is truly proud of. All tourists who travel to Bantayan Island don't miss the chance to visit and enjoy this beach. Whether it's swimming, leisurely strolling along the shore, sightseeing, or finding contentment in the simple act of basking in the sun is already fulfilling.

The last time we went to the island, the Kota beach was on the second day of our itinerary.We went there very early in the morning to soak in the full tranquility and stillness of the beach, all while waiting for the beautiful mesmerizing sunrise.

When we arrived at the beach, there were already people scattered on the beach finding their place in this paradise. The beach is a long stretch of fine white sand, wherever you look is a carpet of white sand that glimms even without the full radiant light of the sun.

I found myself unable to do anything but envy this beauty before my eyes. The sight was breathtaking. How I love to have this kind of view every morning. A kind of view that will soothe your mind and your senses. (Sanaol taga Bantayan!)

While I sat on the beach and had a sip of my choco drink I watched my daughter and my husband having their precious bonding moment, running and playing on the sand. I couldn't help but wish for a simple kind of life like this.😌

My daughter Xab, didn't know where to play exactly on the beach because every inch of the shoreline looked like a place to play. She keeps on running all over the beach. haha. I know she's too excited and elated about this paradise.

One moment she played on the sand, the next moment she ran again. haha.
I think my daughter is a beach lover more than I am. Watching her I was imagining the beautiful beaches she will soon travel and explore, perhaps beaches that I dream of traveling and exploring.

Making sure that my daughter had her best time on the beach, my gaze scanned every corner of the beach filling my eyes with this beautiful nature paradise. I couldn't help but feel in awe with wonder. Haaaays. How blessed the locals are living in this place to enjoy this paradise whenever they want and feel.

We settled in and waited for the sunrise. I noticed that the people were quietly gathering on the beach to witness the grand entrance of the sun too!

We all together watched the grand beauty of the sun illuminating the sky. It was such a wonderful feeling. It was calming. It was renewing. I felt the sense of being grateful for everything around me, my family by my side, the tranquil and beautiful beach, and the magnificent sunrise.

I look forward to more of this precious and awe-inspiring moment. I look forward to seeing sunrise and sunset in the other parts of my country and the world. Soon. Hoping to collect more moments of sunrises and sunsets.
