A Radiant Retreat at Tabuelan.💚

Nothing feels relaxing and cooling taking a stroll in a calm place surrounded by the radiance of the green seaward-flowing river and colorful stalls after a long day's adventure of trekking and climbing a peak.

Our group took a little detour after passing Tabuelan Park. One could not resist this charming plaza just along the way.

After our joyous and adrenaline-filled adventure exploring the Marmol Cliff and Atabay Peak, we could feel that our bodies were yearning for a place where we could just relax, cool down our bodies, and calm our senses after our fulfilling adventure in Tuburan. My happy hormones were dancing in delight at that moment. Who would not? I just had 4 in 1 adventure: trekking, a motorbike ride in the winding river, conquering Atabay peak, and topping it off with savoring a freshly harvested coffee from the farm!

This park of Tabuelan is one of the most beautiful parks in the North one could unwind and kill some time. Personally, I love this plaza because it is so spacious and clean however my favorite part of this park is the refreshing and beautiful sea river view beside it.

As soon as we arrived at the park, I went directly to the seawall eager to soak in my favorite breathtaking view. The green river or rather the sea calmly flows in between the park and the lush greenery of Mangroves. It was a picturesque sight. Some locals were also fishing in this area. I found it very relaxing for someone who just wants to have a leisure of sitting, enjoying the view but catches a fish in the end.

The colorful letter standee of the town TABUELAN looked striking contrasting it super green background of Mangrove. I noticed the town added the word “Inspiring” which I agree. The town of Tabuelan may be small and secluded but this town is growing and blossoming and boasts some of the most beautiful beaches in the North just like Maravilla Beach.

While I was sitting there relishing the cooldown of my blood pressure and body temperature, I noticed the newly constructed stalls. Cozy Rooms? Along the seawall.

The building has colorful walls inviting me to take a stroll on it. It was beautifully positioned in front of the beach giving a perfect contrast of radiance to the whole environment.

As I suspected, the stalls were not occupied yet. By the look at it, I guess it’s a lively food stall or perhaps a karaoke spot.
As much as I wanted to just relax and stretch my legs on the welcoming ground, I was urged to stroll around as I was curious and amazed by this new structure.

The building was made from container vans brought to life by vibrant and color paintings. The design of each van/stall is simple however undeniably striking. It is an excellent art.

I can’t wait for the time that the vibrant place opens its door to the public. The place looks like a very happy corner facing the refreshing and serene view of the sea and the mangroves. Surely one will have a good time and a dose of happiness in this place.

After my leisure stroll, I dedicated some time sightseeing to the whole view of the sea. It just felt so refreshing and yeah a good cooldown to just sit there, taking it all in, and gaze at the whole view.

After we had some of our time there, we ended our cooldown time with a picture taking of the standee letters of Tabuelan. Sometimes the simple act of sitting, relaxing, and doing nothing can be the most rewarding. I’m thankful that this kind of serene place exists.
