Hello friends of the Black and White community!

I've been in Cusco these past few days and have been somewhat disconnected—and also very tired—making it hard to process photos. Still, I wanted to share these images of Tortugas, Casma, which I edited late last night.

Something that really caught my attention about Tortugas beach is that there weren't many people. Unlike the beaches in Lima, where you can barely find a spot to stand, this place was peaceful. I won't deny it; I loved it because you can enjoy an incredible sense of peace.

There is a lot of self-sustainable life here. Fishing is the town's engine and its economic foundation. I saw a lot of spearfishing (harpoon diving) and artisanal fishing. I really appreciate this approach because there isn't an over-predation of fish; they take care of the water and the ecosystem. I leave you with this series and hope you enjoy it.

¡Hola amigos de la comunidad Blanco y Negro!

Me encuentro estos días por Cusco; he estado algo desconectado y muy cansado también para poder procesar fotos, pero igual acá les quería compartir mis fotos que edité por la noche de Tortugas, Casma.

Algo que me llamó mucho la atención de la playa Tortugas es que no había mucha gente. Normalmente, en las playas de Lima no entra ni un alfiler; no voy a negarlo, me encantó, porque se disfruta una paz increíble.

Hay mucha vida autosostenible; la pesca es el motor del pueblo y su base económica. Vi mucha pesca de buzo con arpones y también mucha pesca artesanal. Me gusta ese tipo de actividad porque no hay una predación de los peces y se cuida el agua y el ecosistema. Les dejo esta serie y espero la disfruten.
