Hello, my dear friends from the Black and White community.

This is the story of my improvised trip on a Sunday. Overconfident, I thought Sacsayhuamán was free for Peruvians on the last Sunday of the month, but it was actually the first—buuu! I had to pay the Peruvian rate, which is about 12 dollars. Well, this is just the intro.

My goal was to make a pagapu (offering) to the Pachamama to seal my commitments for 2026. I needed chicha de jora, and it took me quite a while to find it, even though I already had my coca leaves. While searching, I stumbled upon a procession, so I took the opportunity to take some photos and witness it.

Once I gathered everything, I started the climb. In this post, I’ll show you a bit of my ascent to the ruins and what you encounter along the way. In the next post, I will show you this beautiful place. I hope you enjoy it.

Hola mis queridos amigos de la comunidad Blanco y Negro.

Esta es la historia de mi viaje improvisado un domingo. Confiado, pensaba que Sacsayhuamán era gratis para los peruanos el último domingo de cada mes, ¡pero era el primero, buuu! Tuve que pagar igual, algo de 12 dólares al cambio para peruanos. Bueno, igual acá es un intro.

Yo quería hacer un pagapu (pago) a la Pachamama para sellar mis compromisos del 2026. Necesitaba chicha de jora y no encontraba, me tomó tiempo conseguirla, aunque ya tenía mi hoja de coca. Caminando, me encontré con una procesión, así que aproveché en sacar unas fotos y ver un poco de ella.

Conseguí todo y empecé la subida. En este post les muestro un poco de mi subida a las ruinas y lo que te encuentras en el camino. En otro post mostraré este hermoso lugar. Espero sea de su agrado.
