Hello, Black and White community and #MonoMad friends. Holy Week begins, and here everything stops for two holidays that meet the weekend. Many people leave the city; there are many festivals around the country, but this year I stayed home.
Looking at my photos from Pisac, I was struck by a reflection when I found a Warmy (woman in Quechua) in the middle of nowhere, in absolute solitude on a green path accompanied by the sound of the wind. It is the perfect stage. Seeing another one in the middle of the road, climbing a steep slope as if it were a game, having those windows the Incas had with those views, and feeling all that energy of the stone in walls that are also full of life... everything points to a healthier, purer life. What a way we have of complicating ourselves. These were just ideas that came to me while looking at my work, and I’m starting to flow a bit in my dreams.
The main shot for this series captures that Warmy on the path, surrounded by silence and the immense landscape. The high contrast of my Black and White mix highlights the textures of the ancient stones and the resilience of the Andean spirit. It is a visual exercise in finding peace amidst the ancestral grandeur of Pisac. I hope these images transmit that same energy to you.

Hola, comunidad de Blanco y Negro y amigos del MonoMad. Empezamos Semana Santa; bueno, acá todo se detiene, dos días de feriado que se encuentran con el fin de semana. Muchas personas salen de la ciudad, hay muchas fiestas por el país, pero este año me quedé en casa.
Mirando mis fotos en Pisac, me llamó la reflexión cuando me encuentro a una Warmy (mujer en quechua) en la nada, en la absoluta soledad en un camino verde acompañado del sonido del viento; es el escenario perfecto. Ver a una en medio del camino subiendo una gran pendiente como si fuera un juego, tener esas ventanas que tenían los incas con esas vistas, tener toda esa energía de la piedra en sus muros que se llenan de vida también... todo es una vida más sana, más pura. Qué manera de complicarnos. Solo fueron ideas de lo que me transmite ver mi trabajo y empiezo a fluir un poco en mis sueños.
La toma principal que abre esta serie captura a esa Warmy en el camino, rodeada de silencio y la inmensidad del paisaje. El alto contraste de mi mezcla en Blanco y Negro resalta las texturas de las piedras milenarias y la fuerza del espíritu andino. Es un ejercicio visual de encontrar la paz en medio de la grandeza ancestral de Pisac. Espero que estas imágenes les transmitan esa misma energía.
