Between Woodlice and Bees 🐝

Hello dear Black and White community,

Yesterday, on my daily walk, I went out with Kora (those who follow me already know her; if not, I invite you to check my previous posts to meet that cutie).

I don’t know what happened, but I found a hole full of woodlice (I usually call them “little pigs of the earth,” hahaha). Visually, they looked amazing, all stuck together with a puddle of water at the bottom.

As always, Kora behaved perfectly she knows I take my time when shooting photos, so I took the chance and captured the moment. I was very happy with the result.

But that wasn’t all
I kept walking “la la la la” and suddenly, while Kora was doing her business, I turned around and saw a huge beehive 🐝. At first, I got scared (I’ve never been stung before), but I couldn’t miss the opportunity. I started shooting until fear got the best of me and I ran away.

I hope I managed to get enough shots. I promise I’ll go back, better protected, to take more.

Later, I kept walking and captured other photos that I’ll share in a different series and story.

This time the story is short, but the photos have a lot of detail. This kind of photography isn’t my strongest field, but I hope to get a macro lens soon so I can work more on it.

Sending you all the best vibes and energy.

Thanks for being part of this ongoing #MonoMad Challenge adventure!
