Mastering the Frame: Patience and Heat / Dominando el Encuadre: Paciencia y Calor

One of the things I have been practicing is framing—being able to create these compositions and fit everything in at the right moment is a very entertaining exercise. I stood still for an hour trying to fit a person into each space of the gate; it was one of my favorites. Sometimes in my series, I try to distribute across different posts the techniques I want to learn: layer-upon-layer composition, raw street portraits, framing... and thus be able to grow photographically. Everything comes with daily practice.

In these days, I have gone out to shoot in the streets again, back to my environment and moving through parts of my community. The summer is very demanding; we are reaching unbearable temperatures, making the work much more complicated. But when you love what you do, it doesn't matter much; instead, you have to take advantage of adversity and look for the positive.

I leave you with this series of photographs, waiting for your comments to know which one you liked the most or if you also practice different techniques. I see that we are all in constant learning, and I have learned a lot from friends in the #monomad community over time.

Una de las cosas que he estado practicando es el framing, poder hacer estos encuadres y poder encajar las cosas en el momento adecuado es un ejercicio muy entretenido. Me quedé parado por una hora tratando de lograr encajar a una persona en cada espacio de la reja; fue una de mis favoritas. A veces en mis series trato de repartir en diferentes post las técnicas que quiero ir aprendiendo: la composición de capa sobre capa, retratos crudos callejeros, el framing... y así poder crecer fotográficamente. Todo con práctica día a día.

En estos días he vuelto a salir a fotografiar a la calle, a mi ambiente de nuevo, y moverme por partes de mi comunidad. El verano está muy demandante, estamos llegando a temperaturas insoportables y hace que el trabajo sea mucho más complicado, pero cuando uno ama lo que hace no importa mucho; más bien hay que sacarle provecho a la adversidad y buscar lo positivo.

Les dejo esta serie de fotografías esperando sus comentarios y saber cuál fue la que más les gustó o si también practican diferentes técnicas. Veo que todos estamos en constante aprendizaje y he aprendido mucho de amigos de la comunidad #monomad a lo largo del tiempo.
