Hello, friends of the Black and White community! Over here, it's an unusual Sunday because we are celebrating Mother's Day. Every second Sunday of May here in Peru (and I don't know if it's the same all over the world), we celebrate this date and always pay tribute to all mothers.

My photo series today isn't exactly about that, since, as you know, my work documents the day-to-day, and these photos are usually from the day before. I'll surely take some Mother's Day-related photos when I go out today, although it's a bit complicated because you spend time with family, go out to a restaurant for lunch, and it's hard to focus on taking out the camera in those moments. Still, making a bit of an effort, I carved out a small space to write to you and narrate what is happening on the streets.

There's a lot of movement today; I went to train early at the gym and already saw entire families going out for breakfast and getting ready for lunch. It's still early around here, so today's series is a bit about that hustle and bustle. It comes full of surprises, good vibes, and art, which is the most important thing.

¡Hola, amigos de la comunidad en Blanco y Negro! Por aquí, un domingo fuera de lo común porque estamos celebrando el Día de la Madre. Todos los segundos domingos de mayo aquí en Perú (y no sé si en todas partes del mundo) se celebra esta fecha y siempre les rendimos homenaje a todas las madres.

Mi serie fotográfica de hoy no va exactamente de eso, pues como saben, mi trabajo documenta el día a día y las fotos suelen ser de mi jornada anterior. Seguro que hoy haré algunas capturas relacionadas al Día de la Madre cuando salga, aunque es un poco complicado porque uno la pasa en familia, se va a almorzar a algún restaurante y es difícil sacar la cámara en esos momentos. Igual, ahorita haciendo un esfuerzo, me abrí un pequeño espacio para poder escribirles y relatarles lo que pasa en la calle.

Hoy hay mucho movimiento; me fui a entrenar temprano y ya veía familias enteras saliendo a tomar desayuno y preparándose para almorzar. Todavía es temprano por acá, así que de ese ajetreo se trata un poco la serie del día de hoy. Viene llena de sorpresas, de buenas vibras y de arte, que es lo más importante.
